South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

GO AHEAD AND PLAY DEAD

My senses are overwhelmed, the scent of fear a euphoric smog in my nostrils, mouth frothing with a mixture of spittle and blood from the man's now ravaged blood. The thick copper twang coated my tongue with crimson delight and all the while my ears thrummed with the hammer of his pulse! Oh but to end him! To peel the flesh and sinew from his bones! It would be such a pleasure to devour, to suck the marrow from his cracked bones!

His eyes roll wildly in their sockets, his skin turning pale and ashy as he faces his grim reaper, when he pleads to the female he himself was about to violate, I cut off his air almost completely.

A Loathsome wretch like you does not deserve to beg... does not deserve her mercy...

A sanguine rumble purrs passed my lips with an all-encompassing savagery and his hands grapple at my chest and neck, clawing at my muzzle for release, for relief... but he'll not have it. His face is turning purple, his eyes looking as though they may pop from their sockets at a moment's notice.
Blades dig into the cords of his neck, his adams' apple crunching beneath the pressure, I seek to rip his throat out and paint myself in his life's blood and so consumed am I by this lusting that I do not hear the faint word murmured from behind. Not the first time...
"Stop." A command now. It cuts through fizzle of static and I hesitate. Fierce glare never leaves the meloncholy contortion of the man's face, but ears lace back to absorb the voice of the fire-laden vixen.
She is standing now, having apparantly found the ability to scramble back to her feet while I'd busied myself mauling her attacker. And then suddenly there is a caress, a tentatively ruffle of fingers through thick fur. It is there and gone in but a moment's passing and yet it is enough to silence the snarl which still drawled from my lips.

I contemplate the Man's fate. He did not deserve this mercy, and yet she would grant him his Life. I should destroy him anyway, stave off his pitiless life of crime. Indigo pits slant to their corners, just enough to catch the girl's expression from my peripheries.

I release him, though none too gently as I shake him by the throat, much like a dog with a shew toy before tossing him into the street. He scuttles even further, choking and gargling on his own blood, kicking up dirt from his boots as he struggles to put even more distance between us.

I turn and stare at the woman. Stupid girl, what the fuck was she doing way the Hell out here by herself anyhow? She definitely wasn't from this side of town. Padding up to her, my eyes drink her in with the eerie intensity of a predator, adrenaline still rampaging through my core and my eyes still burning with the desire to kill. Tongue rasps across bloody muzzle in a decidedly hungry manner, orbs narrowing upon the delicate tapered fingers of her hand.

Then I slide forward, circling around behind her, provocatively close, potent stare drinking her in from every angle. Thick neck extends, the broad expanse of my muzzle propelled forward to nudge beneath the palm of that same hand, her supple skin sliding up the bridge of my nose and over my head with the momentum of my forward movement. As I come to stand at her side, her hand would now have drifted to just above my shoulders, and here is where I draw to a halt.

Casting one last dismissive glance at the crumpled man now passed out from pain upon the ground, expression finally begins to soften some. Ears fall back, muzzle tipping back to look upon te face of the angel' A simpered whine illicits, followed by the gentle sway of my brindled plume. It seemed as though this girl needed an escort home, and what kind of mongrel would I be if I didn't oblige her?

SOMEDAY I'LL WALK AWAY AND SAY

YOU FUCKIN' DISAPPOINT ME
