South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

If he feels any sense of remorse for the injury he has caused the young woman he hardly shows it, features remaining impassive, if not agitated in some manner, as his violet gaze lingers upon the bite wound encompassing a large portion of her shoulder- teeth having broken the skin, spotting the wound with small pinpricks of blood that rose to the surface. Of all the things he had done in his life so far, of all the things others would find disagreeable perhaps- he had never changed another. There were certain rules, certain morals even the volatile equine had failed to broach and somewhere within himself he is loath to admit his own fault in this, frustration at himself, at his own accidental assault twisting like a knife and yet he refuses to acknowledge it- refuses to appear remorseful as he makes some effort to help the woman still. He ignores the cries and gasps of pain she makes, his hold remaining firm upon her as he helps her stand- allowing her to lean upon him as she whimpers and cries and his mind seeks some manner in which this might be reversed. The spattering's of blood- small as they are however, assure him of a truth he already knows and yet chooses to deny all the same. If he has damned her then there is far more then the end of her humanity he is to be forced to consider. To change a willing being was one thing, to accidentally change a human was another- particularly when the human held ties so close to the Hunting Council that had already grown tired with him over the years.

He allows her to cling to him, for the girl is surely incapable of standing alone- some part of him perhaps willing to admit the faintest taint of respect for the delicate blonde whom seemed determined to remain upright despite her injuries. She would need far more then a fighting spirit however- to face what was to come. To change another was to bind them to you, like a child of sorts. She would need to be cared for, looked after, guided like a newborn colt struggling to find it's feet and truly the snowy-haired man has little time to hold her hand and even less desire to offer it to her. Those who could not stand for themselves were of no interest to him, the girl a liability and yet she was to be his liability. Darius he would find later.

"Your injuries will heal."

It is all he offers for now, voice cold and yet assured somewhere beneath that frosted chill it holds as she continues to cling to him, her naivety evident now in her response as a nearly imperceptible sigh manages to part his lips and he remains silent for a moment. Was Azrael truly so blind as to fail to inform her of the dangerous of her humanity beyond a warning to simply stay away? A warning was never truly made fearsome unless a consequence was presented alongside it, the equine choosing to ignore such thoughts once more before offering the woman a response.

"It was pack business- an affair that did not concern you until now. I will find him, the other horse- that much I promise you but for now I am going to take you home. You will find this distinctly unpleasant."

He hardly provides her with the opportunity to question him further, a shot or near arctic cold injected into her very veins themselves and sent straight to her mind in an effort to shut it down entirely and render the girl unconscious before lifting her near effortlessly up and into his arms. It was far easier to deny her any further pain in this manner, her injuries for her Uncle to solve- at least for now. Until she no longer held her humanity in full she would remain Azrael's property and as such the young man is content to return her to where she belongs- for now. The walk is neither swift nor wholly comfortable, her dead weight a heavy, cumbersome thing and yet the man continues all the same, refusing to allow thoughts of the days to follow to bother his mind with their relentless knowledge.

He knows where Azrael lives, the dim glow from within assuring the stallion the Hunter was home and as such he moves to act quickly all the same, steadily allowing that warmth to intercept the girls system once more until she begins to stir again and he moves to lay her atop the floor.

"Quiet."

It is a command, not a question- the tone within his voice sure to mean so much more within the next few days when she comes to truly perceive the force of an Alpha creature and yet for now perhaps he simply sounds....bossy, voice hushed all the same.

"You are at home, your uncle will find you momentarily- tell him whatever you please, but be sure to tell him you were bitten by a Were. There are....things that he will explain to you I am assured, things I would tell you myself but your Uncle and I do not find...pleasure in each other's company and I do not fancy being shot tonight. I will come back, in a few nights time- you will need me then far more then you will understand. I will be the only one who can help you, you Uncle will know that too but I do not feel I am going to be welcome all the same."

Something almost akin to a simper manages to trace his features, as if the thought of an agitated Azrael is amusing to him before the violet of his gaze returns to the girl he kneels beside.

"I am....sorry. That is the only time I will say it so you best remember it. I will be back for you- soon."

He rises smoothly from her all the same, one hand reaching to rap his knuckles against the wood of the door before returning them to his pocket, striding smoothly back down the hall and out of sight without a backward glance...
