South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Born on the sun

Kato was immersed in his thoughts, comparing his home to this new world which was perhaps the silliest thing to do. If he kept comparing everything to the past then it would leave no room to make anything new be home too. Yes the air smelled of pine instead of sun and the earth was soft and dark instead of packed red...but in the end it was still the same that gave him life and he would learn its language soon enough. His attention didn't divert from the ground where his fingers weaved through the freshly sprouted grass until there was movement from the corner of his eye.

Hazel eyes fell upon the form of the stranger before he slowly stood from his crouched position. While it was an age old warning not to trust a book by its cover and be wary of strangers, Kato didn't seem to have that lesson...or he ignored it. Living on the savannah had taught him other lessons and he was so rarely afraid of anything because of it. The corner of his lips twitched in a lop-sided friendly smile, "Hi.." His voice was slightly gravely from lack of us though no less inviting because of it. There was hardly any time to investigate further before the pounding of hooves met his ears and was soon followed by a white stallion. To say he wasn't expecting to run into any others would have been a lie, but to say he wasn't surprised by seeing a horse would have been. Kato remained where he was standing with his bare feet planted firmly on the soft soil though his gaze tracked the wandering equine quite carefully. He didn't care for the personal space that the stallion invaded but didn't act out on it seeing as its interest was fleeting at best before moving away to investigate the woman.

The words hat pressed into his mind was a surprise, completely unused to the invasion outside of his Were form. His brows crinkled briefly before smoothing once more as he tucked his thumbs into the pockets of his jeans with a subtle roll of his shoulders. "A fence succeeds in keeping things out but also isolating whatever is inside. Doesn't seem like a real existence to me." His entire view on Frost's upset at his presumed territory breach seemed lackadaisical at best. It wasn't his intention to be disrespectful but Kato also wasn't familiar with territories outside of the predators. The herds that he roamed with traveled wherever the rains brought grass after all.

Slowly Kato shifted forward to bring himself closer to not just Frost but the female. Whether or not she was capable in her own abilities to fend off anything it would never stop him from being how his mother raised him. He would always be there to defend a woman no matter what. "I've only just met her," He motioned to the woman he now stood near, "but my name's Kato. I don't suppose you have one you'd like to share?"
