South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

there are as many truths as stars in the sky, and everyone of them different
perhaps that is the only real truth

Magical things seemed to happen in the rain. The world was revitalized, the healing liquid seeming to create new lief and nourish what already existed. While many humans considered it a match to a gloomy mood she loved the rain, the way it slid across her skin like a fine moisturizer. Even the chill that was left over, a reminder of what it could do, and so she basks in it. Not to mention there were a few things that seemed more powerful in a rainstorm and some spells that were perfected because of it. Honestly Jericho probably assumed that being out here meant he would have space and Sorcha should respect that. She should have walked on by with a swift wave and then forgotten he ever existed but that is not her way. Like a mother hen, she flocks to those she senses hurt and pain from, the healer in her desiring to cure such things. Mend the mind and the physical manifestations as well. She cannot sense what he is even if he has figured out what she is, although she isn't as quiet about it as she likes to think she is.

Her life had been relatively easy compared to many supernaturals. While her kind was not immortal neither was it a life of ease for witches were prolific in any culture and Dark Hunters had an easier time finding them since they were almost always immersed in human culture. Still, she had only met one thus far and it hadn't ended as bad as she figured it could have, and she was careful. She tried to pay attention to everything while also working her little ass off to try and make it big. Selling her potions and improving the quality of life for others was her goal in life, a goal that tied in well together, and she wanted to bust out of her small-time earnings into something more stable and steady. She wanted to live a comfortable life one day where she didn't struggle day to day from bills.

"Thank God for small miracles," she jests about her dry upper figure, one hand brushing down the crinkly poncho, instinctively moving to her shoulder but finding that her familiar backpack was not with her. She had left it at home to take a day off and she lets her hand drop, feeling naked without it. A laugh bursts from her, rolling and fluid as she crinkles her eyes at him and smooths her hair back from her face with a grin. "You are too clever! Shh, stop looking," she says, reaching out to place her fingers on his chin and playfully push his face forward. "If anyone sees then you'll spook my future victims!" She scowls theatrically at him before her lips twitch back upwards.

"Ha, you are a player then!" She says as if she had him all figured out, winking at him, all in play of course for Sorcha was digging slowly down into him. He would eventually shut her out, this stranger, and that was his prerogative, but until then she would continue. "I'm not much of a drinker myself. At least not in social settings." Which was true, she preferred to do it in her studio if she ever felt the need to let go and unwind. But he flips the questions back around on her and her other hand is lifted, opening to reveal seashells in her palm, the indentations of their crooked edges in her skin. "I was out collecting sea shells. They are very useful, you know, for certain things. And some are pretty. Who knows? Maybe one day I will find an oyster with a pearl inside."
