South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry stood silently in the kitchen, waiting for Sterling to come take a look at his wound. He didn't feel blood running down the back of his head, so he didn't figure the wound was too bad. But he figured he would let Sterling look at it. If it looked bad enough, Henry would try to find his way to an emergency room without getting himself killed. From the sound of it, there were plenty of things in this city to be cautious of...even if Henry wasn't 100% sure they even existed. Something existed...because how else would Sterling be able to produce a ball of fire in his palm out of nothing but the cool night's air?

Henry kept still Sterling began to sift through his hair to get a good look at the gash. As his hand passed over the hairs at the edge of the cut, Henry felt the sting of pain but he didn't draw attention to it. He would have a pretty nasty headache in the morning. But the good news was that Sterling didn't seem to think he needed any immediate help other than to make sure the bleeding was stopped.

As Sterling stepped away from the back of his head, Henry replaced the soiled rag back on the cut, wincing as he put pressure on the wound. Turning to face Sterling, he listened to the male's question and nodded. "I'm okay. I'll have a pretty nasty headache in the morning. Got some Aspirin and maybe some gauze so I can bandage myself up?" Henry wasn't thinking about the real question in Sterling's question. Sterling probably wasn't asking how he was doing physically...he was probably asking how he was taking in the news that the world was full of supernatural beings. It was a large pill to swallow and he probably just wanted to make sure Henry wasn't about to dive off his balcony. But my dear Henry wasn't really thinking straight tonight. He was in a clusterfuck of confusion and this certainly wasn't helping things.
