South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Had Ian known the thoughts running through Raven's head, he may have warmed up to her sooner, she was an avoider also. Though she had to deal with constantly being assaulted by an oversized kitten, Ian had to constantly skulk and slink through his own house to avoid coming into contact with his housemate, even going to the point of avoiding his late afternoon naps in his favourite sun spots.

Usually he would have regarded the larger female with a degree of wariness, possibly even fear. He had done so when they had last met, though it was likely she didn't recognize him, Ian had chosen to lurk and tremble on the outskirts of the group, whilst she was deep in the folds of the mayhem, partaking in it for the most part. At least for now she seemed quite reasonable, sensible and far less threatening than the last time he had seen her. However, the disapproving snort did not go unnoticed, and though his spotted ears sank back momentarily in frustration he couldn't bring himself to snap at her â€" she had saved his hide and his overreaction probably was stupid. Still, he begrudged others judging him so, life was much easier when you were the size she was.

But the wagging of her tail brought a small snort of amusement from him, he was almost tempted to call her a good girl, but that would probably get him eaten. It was so much easier to be cocky when he was in his human form, or surrounded by others of his kind. His golden gaze flickered, lowering to the paw she had lifted to display to him, Ian dipped his head once in brief acknowledgement of the painful lesson she must have gone through to be able to know where these traps lay.

As the wolf rose to her paws and moved closer, Ian kept his composure, oversized ears still relentless in their movements as they tracked her while she circled him. Though he still was uncertain, or at the least, wary of her, the only sign he gave was the subtle flickering of his tail, the tip twitching as though expelling the nervous energy that had previously encapsulated his entire being. The wolf departed, and Ian lingered â€" shoulders rolling under his spotted coat as he deliberated on what to do with the information she had given him. She had offered him a safe route, but following her would be awkward and though she'd helped, the wolf-girl didn't seem particularly warm or open. "Thank you, again?"

He picked up his pace, trotting towards the scent markers she had left in her wake â€" gliding almost soundlessly with each light step. "Why did you help?" The question had slipped free before Ian could even gather himself fully, perhaps she was leading him deeper into a trap â€" nudging him in the direction of that maniacal leopard that had tried to make him some play thing.
