South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

her eyes hold the apocalypse

South
She's a natural in disaster
The silence after and before
We're the ones she's chasing after
She's coming back for more

Tamzin turned away from Sera when the woman approached her, she hated when anyone saw weakness of any sort in her. A couple more deep breaths were taken as she turned back to her childhood friend. The witch was now in front of her, trying to be the barrier between her and the vampires. She reached out and grasped her shoulder and stepped up beside her, trying her hardest to stand up straight. A small smile touched her lips as she watched Sera taunt their wannabe predators; it seemed she had changed quite a bit since they were kids.

The Hunter placed her legs shoulder with apart, trying her hardest to make herself seem more steady than she was actually feeling. She reached into her jacket and pulled out her twelve inch blade, she held it at her side, her grip tightening. Her knuckles started to turn white; she was gripping the knife so hard, trying to give herself that false feeling of security. Another slow breath was drawn in then released as she tried to force herself to focus, but it proved difficult with the alcohol still flowing freely through her system.

The apparent leader of the four vampires snarled at Sera's words, his fists curling into fists. They all flinched the slightest bit when the witch dropped the vial, before letting out an inaudible sigh of relief when she caught it at the last minute. He may have underestimated them after all, because the witch quickly stepped up to defend her drunken friend. He wasn't sure if he wanted to risk the possibility of the potion working, the glow from it stung as it was. A slight step back was taken as he glanced over at his other followers, and from the look on their faces they seemed to feel the sensation. "Consider this your get out of jail free card, witch." He then looked over to the still swaying Hunter and he grinned at her cruelly. "We'll be back for you, Hunter, better thank your little witch bitch."

Tamzin's eyes narrowed at the vampire's words, and she watched as he turned away and left. His other cronies followed him back into the bar, and the Hunter let out a sign of relief. The relief only lasted a second because a second later her stomach churned and she felt the acid rise. She quickly turned away from Sera and doubled over before retching, the sickening wet sound hit the ground. After a few seconds she spit and slowly straightened her stance before stepping away from the vomit. Ice blue eyes were filled with frustration as she studied her childhood friend. She hated that she needed someone else to protect her, which never happened. The only reason could be was that she wasn't in as much control of herself and her feelings as she thought.

"Thank you."

Her voice was tense, those two words the hardest for her to say. Her eyes locking with Sera's stormy own before she looked away. Slender palms patted her pockets as she felt around; she knew she had a pack of gum around here somewhere. A couple seconds later she found it and popped a piece into the mouth, no longer wanting to taste the bitterness. Another sigh passed as she took a couple swayed steps towards Sera, the anger rising up in her eyes once again. She wasn't sure what else to say or do, so she looked down at her feet ashamed.

"I never get like this."
