South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The first thing that the young Were did was roll her shoulders, testing out the feeling as the pain in her shoulder subsided. It was still there, though certainly more akin to a paper cut than the wound from a silver tipped arrow. Her words of gratitude, as rare as they were for her, were sincere, the young girl truly grateful for the assistance. She doubted she would have made it back to Frost's on her own, and calling out for that pack bond was something the girl would do only if it was absolutely necessary â€" she felt no need for the teasing that would have followed, nor the lecture at how his Beta would need to be more careful with herself. "You'll have to share how you made that, exactly. I am assured it would be most useful within my pack." After all, Frost's eternal struggle with the Nightshade pack was sure to draw attention to them from Hunters eventually, and some wounds Edie wasn't sure would entirely heal with her power. She'd never truly tested them. She'd never had the opportunity to. Though it did seem lucky that Kato seemed healed from their experience, and that Edie would slowly heal herself.

The small Were hardly expected the laughter that came out of his mouth at her insistence that that was not her name. Her whole life had been people making sly comments regarding the tiny fennec fox and her complete inability to be useful in a fight. It was why her parents had hardly been involved in pack goings on, and why Edie had always wanted to prove she could be useful. She gave him a glance at his use of her name, respectful enough to listen to his tale that this was not his first time confronting the Hunters that she tried so desperately to avoid. A breath lodged itself in her throat as she looked at his scars, himself describing the incidents that had led to receiving them. He was brave, and the girl found herself developing an odd sense of admiration for the rhino. Briefly, she found herself wanting to reach out to brush her fingers across the old wounds. If she had been there, he wouldn't have the scars.

Still, Edie stayed still in her spot, demanding that he explain exactly what it was that his plan was. Regardless of his experience, standing in a clearing alone with no weapons hardly rang out as a good idea in her mind. It sounded like a quick way to get yourself killed. "Sure, you handled situations where you had to protect someone, but no one was in danger tonight. You put yourself in danger for absolutely no reason, and that makes you aâ€"" Edie was hardly given the opportunity to finish exactly what that made him when his hand wrapped around her arm. For a fraction of a second, Edie was able to comprehend that his hand could have wrapped around her arm twice given how large he was and how tiny she herself was. But that moment was just as fleeting as her sentence when he leaned down and pressed his lips over hers.

Instantly, Edie froze, her body pressed against the man. Her range of emotions flickered, going from a butterflies in stomach level of attraction to him to absolute fury. She'd only just begun the idea of kissing him back when he'd pulled back his mouth, merely staring down at her with that annoying look in his eyes. Still, he didn't let go of her yet, and Edie was sure even if she jerked back, he was strong enough to hold her there. She reached out with her free hand, swatting at his chest in irritation. Her strongest hit didn't even make him flinch, and that only infuriated the young woman, another string of insults coming to her lips. "You insensitive... bloody... prick..." She swatted at his chest with every word, infuriated still that he held her without even a thought.

"I don't... I don't live here... anymore," Edie said through clenched teeth, looking up at him. She hated the way he looked at her with that flicker of amusement at her continued squirming. For all her feisty mouthing, it was proven that she was utterly the weaker one in this situation. "You're an ass." She spat out. Her frustration was clear on her features, and yet still there was that same attraction she'd felt only moments before when he'd kissed her lingering. Sure, he was infuriating and an idiot, but he was cute. Edie was small. She had to be clever. Taking control in the only way she knew how, she reached up, putting a hand on the back of his neck and steading herself as she pressed her lips roughly against his. Later, she'd claim it was the adrenaline that had her thinking messed up, but for now she was content to give in and kiss him.
