South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Samantha's lip merely quirked up as the faerie boy corrected the nickname that she'd apparently decided on for him. As she passed the cup of tea back to him, she leaned forward on the table, balancing her head on her hands. "I think Dori suits you. You called me a prostitute, I think it's only fair I get to pick a nickname for you. And I choose Dori." Samantha leaned back in her chair, her hands wrapping around her own mug as she eyed him tasting the liquid presented to him. Samantha herself takes small, careful sips â€" she never much liked burning her tongue, after all â€" while the man in front of her wastes no time in trying it. "Do you like it?" She asked sweetly, a smile working its way onto her features at the way he seems to enjoy himself. She lets out a chuckle at his words, shaking her head. "Not displeasing. Such a compliment."

It is then he speaks his story, Samantha's attention focused solely on the man across from her. There was something so decidedly vulnerable about the way he speaks, Samantha forced to believe the things he said. There's something within the faerie girl that has the intense desire to protect him, and it's only when he speaks of how many days ride it would be to Italy that Samantha feels actual pity for him. It is that that causes her to get up, going to the boxes of things she has. The book was a thrift store find â€" like so many of her other things â€" but her love of History had caused her to bring it home. Now, she was glad she had it. She leaned over his shoulder as she flipped through it â€" likely finding herself far more close to him than the man would be comfortable with. For a moment, she merely allowed him to enjoy the book, realizing that there was a good chance this was the first time he'd seen a real printed book. She lets out a tiny chuckle as his fingers run over the page, reaching down to point out the countries to him.

"Yeah," Samantha sighed, her hand reaching up to run a hand over the man's shoulder â€" a habit she'd done with Aiden on more than one occasion to soothe him. "I assume whatever that Hunter's power was really... kept you out of it for awhile." She felt his panic rising, the girl sitting down beside him to look over his shoulder. "Dorian..." Her voice remains soft, dropping down in the seat beside him. She'd grown to think he was old, but perhaps far older than she could have imagined. The clear upset that the man has on his features radiates within Samantha, her power picking up on the emotion he displays. "A lot has been discovered about the world recently," She adds, purposely not adding exactly how recently. "Territories have been redefined, new places discovered. But it's okay, we don't have to look at it any longer."

The Fae Prince's attempts to hide the swirling emotions around him is useless to the empath. Even though his face remains carefully masked, the strong emotions he feels seem to dance around her. It was as easy as breathing to the young fae to pick up on his emotions, and immediately Samantha moves to offer him a place to stay, even considering the possibility that he would be there longer than merely one evening. She tried, desperately, not to think of how she would clothe him, or how she would feed him â€" she was sure her dinner of ramen noodles would likely be repulsive for the prince. "You owe me nothing," Samantha murmurs, her voice entirely sincere. It was not a possibility for the faerie to turn away the man, nor risk that he might become injured or worse. "Where I'm from, we simply do things because it's the right thing to do. You'd likely die out there."

"Bathing, right," Samantha stood, going once again over to the box of her things. She knelt down, digging through the clothes until she pulled out the clothes that Aiden had left last time he'd been over. They were nothing fancy, a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but they would do for now. She went over to him, pushing the clothing into his arms. "They likely won't fit perfectly, but they'll do until I can get you new ones. Your current clothes are falling apart from your ordeal. Those belong to my boyfriend, but I'm sure he won't mind." She flashed him a smile, her mind thinking of Aiden and the way the boy would likely just shake his head at her attempt to help the faerie man.

She didn't touch Dorian this time â€" they were safe, and if he chose to follow her, it would be of his own free will â€" as she went into the bathroom. Now, how to explain the concept of a shower to Dorian? After all, she didn't have a bath, just the stand in shower, and she was sure the ancient faerie would be as baffled by this concept as he was with the water in the kitchen. When Dorian joined her, she turned, giving a small nod to him as she added a towel to the collection of things he carried. "So this is a shower. It's uh..." She reached over, turning the water on and watching as it fell from the shower head. "Those pipes I mentioned, no? I have... um. Servants, that heat the water and pour it through the pipes so that they come through here. You turn this nozzle here. To the left if you want it hotter â€" the lever controls the fire that heats the water." Well, her words weren't entirely untrue, even if they weren't exactly how the pipes worked. "And to the right if you want it to be colder. And if you want to turn it off, you push it all the way to the right. But I'd step out of the water then, it gets terribly cold when you shut the fire off." Samantha flashed him a smile as she pointed out the things in her shower. "Soap," She motioned to the bottle of body wash. "Shampoo, conditioner. Use those to wash your hair and make it soft. Everything else should be self explanatory." She stepped out of the way. "Careful for your head, though."

"Go ahead then," Samantha stepped out of the way, gently nudging him towards the shower as she stepped to the doorway. "If you need anything, just yell for me. I'm going to figure out what we're going to do for dinner. Come on out when you're done." And with that, she shut the door to the bathroom, leaning against the door as she tried to figure out exactly what it was she'd just gotten herself into.
