West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The curly-haired woman was quite content sitting at the kitchen table eating her meal in peace. There were a lot of things running around her mind and she hardly wanted to spend hours thinking over every such thing, going over the different scenarios and the numerous consequences that would follow. Her talk with Lucian had hit a nerve and she was rather annoyed that he hit the hammer on the head. She was not one that enjoyed bringing up her riveting tales of her past. The numerous scars that ran along her bare arms, as well as her face, should have be the clear sign to Lucian, and everyone else, that she had a hardship. Everyone had hardships, but just like her external scars they were difficult to heal. Anyone that had a troubled past was more than likely wanting to forget all about it. Part of forgetting was not talking about it, under any circumstances. Perhaps that is why she liked Alexis and felt connected to her more than others. She understood and there was no reason to explain. From Alexis internal abrasions to her own external scuffs it was clear to see that between the two of them, there was a natural empathetic connection that no one else would be even capable of meeting on that level. As for Tobi, well, he never asked. His ignorance was her bliss. Should Lucian ever want her to be content within his presence he would do well to not poke his nose in things she was trying to deal with with. She didn't have anyone before and she was quite used to doing things alone. Like...eating a meal and reading her book.

Blue-grey eyes never left the page when she heard the boy announce his presence with a growl. If he thought he was going to get a ruse out of her, he was wrong. They lived here and although he had it set in his mind that this place was his she would follow along only so she didn't have a headache. Unfazed by his primal table manners she would casually place a bookmark in her book, setting it down as she finished up her chicken, before he had the audacity to even attempt to take her own. Hearing the familiar sound of a shifter, her head would raise up slightly to her shock of a clothed Tobi. It wasn't like him, or most Weres for that matter, that would shift with their clothes on. She always did so out of habit finding it appalling to run around in front of others without some sort of clothing on. Her pack hated seeing the evidence of their crimes should she shift into her other natural skin and so, clothes were always a necessity to keep on should she change from her ebony and grey pelt. Standing up she would grab their empty plates, slate eyes traveling up and down his well-toned clothed form quite impressed that he had indeed found something attractive to wear. Her pale scarred cheeks would flush a shade of pink when she realized she had been staring at him so long, giving him a polite grin as she hurriedly averted her eyes. Her shyly voice giving him a response for approval.

"Yes Tobi, they look very nice on you...I'm surprised you know how to shift with your clothes on"

Lowering her head she would reach the sink rinsing the plates and setting them in the dishwasher. Moving herself towards the table seeing he was gone now she would open her book sitting down to continue her peace and quiet before she showed him her surprise. However, it would seem that he had found it when she heard his words barely whispered to her. Puzzled as to what could possibly make him shocked, she set the book down about to get up when suddenly he rounded the corner and grabbed her hand. As he pulled her forward her fingers would interlace with his, her attempt to hang on as she quickly walked behind him, allowing him to drag her to where ever they needed to be. Moving along the catwalk she noticed how he was staring at his new found bed, standing beside him as she noticed that tense look on his face, his dark chocolate eyes narrowed. Hearing his order she couldn't help, but nudge her bare scarred shoulder into his arm, in a comforting manner.

"Tobi it's your new bed. I took your nets, sacks and rags, and created this. I sleep in something like this at home outside."

Living in her house, by herself, she had felt trapped. The house being a cage without metal bars. She had destroyed her second and third levels, but with the help of Alexis she was slowly restoring it. Unable to sleep in a bed, finding it uncomfortable and unusual, she had been searching for a different way to sleep in her human form. The floor didn't work and neither did the living room couch. She couldn't sleep in her backyard or within the woods in her wolf form, she was hardly safe if she did such a thing, and so, she would grow restless and irritated from lack of sleep. It was by chance she was searching for softer pillows and blankets when she had come across of a box that held the image of a hammock with a female lying asleep in one. In her backyard she had one tree, but on top of her roof was a makeshift porch the previous owner had built. Taking the hammock home with her, she made herself a rather comfortable bed and she was quite proud of it. Rain or shine she could sleep there. Only when it was fall and winter did she have to sleep inside her home, but at least she had a better place to sleep. There was only one place for a hammock and she had given that up for Tobi, finding a rather ingenious crevice that seemed more like a cave. Even if she couldn't sleep suspended in air, at least within her makeshift cave she could get some similar all because it was high near the roof. Looking to Tobi she would move closer to the hammock ready to show him just how to use his new bed.

"So, you get in like this...and you lie down, and see, bed. It's quite comfortable."

Quietly she would extend her hand grabbing the edge of the hammock as she climbed over the railing of the catwalk stepping one foot in front of the other towards the riser. Sure they were at the top of the warehouse, and it was rather a scary thing to do, but she was scared about other things. Heights, and in this case her own well-being, was not one of them. Stepping onto the large riser she would casually lean back into the hammock, moving her legs into the hammock, lying down. Laying her head on the pillow, moving her arms behind her head, her sleeveless navy shirt moved slightly to show bits more of her scarred pale flesh. The hammock would sway slowly and then stop. She would turn her head to face him giving him a small grin, quite content in her position.

"Come on in and try it, I'll stay here to help you."

Slowly she would get up off her lying down position, and sit in the hammock, stretching herself to grab a hold of the catwalk rail, moving the hammock closer to him. Although her scent on her flesh was Lucian's, hardly was there a scent of Tobi on her. Extending her hand, opening her palm, she was ready to help Tobi get in his new bed, which was rather large, capable of sitting two comfortably and holding both their wait. She was not one that hardly trusted others very well and perhaps he wasn't either, but maybe he'd see she was at least attempting to show that she was going to try and trust him and in return, maybe he might be able to do the same with her. Blue-grey eyes met his own dark chocolate eyes through his long untamable hair, her voice soft, but with a serious note.

"Trust me."
