West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

In truth, there were very few individuals outside of the Ark that Tetradore showcased his home to. It wasn't that he was in any fashion afraid of what they might think or that it was somehow embarrassing that he found himself at the head of such boisterous and sometimes illicit activities. Rather, he simply more often than not chose to not get others involved. The number of non-were creatures that had stepped onto the floating cargo ship was surprisingly few, often requiring to be vouched for by another amongst their normal crowd rather than simply allowed to walk in. It was no surprise to him that the young fairy in front of him had to stumble quite literally into one of the core members of hi pack in order to gain access at all. Still, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as the fae fell into him, her fingers tightly gripping his arms, her figure all too clearly lacking the stability she usually had. His animal half was all too aware of how weak she was, the predatory part of him simply knew it. A small frown tugged at the corner of his lips as she begun to speak.

He watched the fashion at which she gestured at her head, immediately understanding the words she attempted to convey. If the emotions at the burlesque were too much, it was a wonder she even got through the door on a night like this. The crowd here was at least twice the size of the burlesque on even the best of nights, their emotions perhaps just as heated as the lust that threatened to overwhelm her at her job. Here the adrenaline ran rampant, the crowd fed on that energy and the fighter too fed off that in a vicious, never ending circle. It was good for business and for the most part, Tetradore tended to enjoy it. His emerald eyes watched as Raven scooted Tobias' chair behind her and gingerly he guided the girl into the chair as he listened to the story she retold in a rushed voice with haunted eyes. Tetradore remained altogether silent throughout her story, his facial features were still and indifferent and his emotion too remained stoic until the mention of the vampire that bit her.

It wasn't the bite itself that caused that momentary lapse in his placid demeanor. Rather, instead, it was the remark that she knew well the vampire didn't want to bite her and yet he'd been forced to. There was a brief tinge of guilt, sadness, compassion, and understanding all at once before he forced those emotions down and back to that perfect indifference he'd so mastered all those years ago. He couldn't help the thought that if this had been but a year or two ago, the entire scenario could have easily been reversed. Samantha could have been running into the arms of someone else sobbing because of the damage he had done. He nodded ever so slightly as the girl continued, his gaze glancing towards Raven at Samantha's mention. His gaze remained steadfast upon the woman a she offered to go after the vampire in question. He paused, a soft exhale leaving his lips.

After a moment's thought, the man shook his head ever so slightly. "No, Tobias would make himself known. I want to know everything about them without them being aware of it. We'll send Jackal." His attention turned back towards the young woman in front of him. "Come on, Samantha, I want you to stay here tonight." He held out his arm for the girl, still intending to be the support she needed whilst he led her towards the deeper, quieter parts of the ship and his own quarters. "Raven, do you have any clothes she can borrow?" He inquired, making every effort to ensure all of the fairy's needs were taken care of.
