West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was decidedly thrilling to watch as Edie's words clearly got under the skin of the other Beta. Despite Frost's wishes for the girl to find out things from the Ark, there was no harm in playing a little game with the object of Frost's affections. After all, if she would one day join their pack, there was no harm in Edie knowing exactly what she was made of. So far, it didn't seem like much. That her words may have inspired the shift and the desire for the other girl to flee was just a bonus. Edie wasted no time in shifting herself, following the panther up to the upper deck. It was equally exciting for the girl to note that they were alone, just the two of them. Their chances of being discovered up here were considerably less than they were downstairs. Now, perhaps, Nadya would relax. However, that didn't seem to be the case as Edie revealed herself and the crates exploded near them. Edie's ears flattened against her head in an attempt to cover herself from the raining wood.

Wow. You must be real fun at parties. Edie's words were teasing, though the fractured way that Nadya continued meant that the girl warming up to her perhaps wasn't exactly what would happen here. Oh, she could see what Frost meant. The girl had power, and that's exactly why he wanted her. Or so he wanted her to believe. And so he clearly wanted Nadya to believe. That's true. But that's not the only reason that he wants you, you know. Edie's small stature inched closer to her, hardly afraid of the oversized house cat. He hasn't admitted it, of course. And he won't. You know, boys. But he cares for you. Cares for the twins, too. Whether or not mentioning the woman's children was a good idea Edie didn't bother to consider, instead once again relishing in the very fact that she had knowledge over the woman, and the twins... Her mind flashed to her conversation with Frost and the potential that they would bring to the pack.

However, her thoughts were so rudely interrupted by Nadya's declaration, the other Beta's words earning a growl to escape from Edie's small body. She leapt back at the sudden swipe above her head, her ears flattening once again at the woman's continued, broken speech. It was that last bit, the declaration that she couldn't be Frost's Beta that stung at the woman. It was the same kind of thing that she'd heard her whole life. That being small meant she wasn't useful, or couldn't be powerful. No, her size meant a lot of things. But her potential... No. Her potential was her own.

And yet I have the title. Edie's tone was composed, showing no indication that the words bothered her, even though they stung at an old wound. She continued, her eyes focused on the feline. I may be small, but I'm worth so much. My loyalties are in tact, can you say that yours are? The Beta of the warring pack right under your brother's nose. And here you are playing. Edie's tone was accusing, the woman rather annoyed at the panther and her accusations. Say what you will about my size. But I know where I stand. I'm loyal to my Alpha. Are you? The small fox merely stood, eyes narrowed on the larger feline. She didn't consider that a fight with Nadya would result in her injuries. She didn't even perceive the panther as a threat. After all, she'd given her an opportunity to turn her in, one that Nadya had chosen not to take. Frost chose me. Just like he'd choose you if you had the courage to stand up for what you actually want.
