West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It proved to be Ivy's smile as she joked with Samantha that truly sealed the deal for the young faerie that she could do the whole queen thing. That she was able to coax such a smile out of the girl was reassurance enough. Samantha shook her head with her own laugh, looking up at her. "Trust me, half the fun of Dorian is the things he says. You'll love him, I promise." She shifted in her seat, watching as Raven departed but hardly feeling the fear that she'd initially felt at the presence of another faerie. No, between Dorian and Ivy, she'd begun to feel at home with her own species. And really, even a few of the girls at the burlesque were not so shabby, some even growing to like her even if she was weary to trust them. But it was the faeries such as the ones that would join her monarchy that had made her feel most comfortable, most protective over. Yes, she could do this. She could be their queen. She could keep them safe from harm. And she would.

Samantha wasted no time in presenting the option that they leave the Ark. After all, it would only be a matter of time until the place would start filling with the patrons that came to watch the fights, and truly she hardly wanted either of them to be present for that nonsense. She had no problem with Aiden's business, truly. In fact, she was sure that if the roar of the crowd didn't make her weak at the knees from her empathic abilities, she would have spent time watching alongside Aiden. As it was, she was lucky to have an excuse most nights to be at the burlesque, and now with Ivy and Dorian. Samantha is pleased, really, that the faerie girl agreed to the offer, and Samantha rose immediately. "Come on. Trust me, you don't want to be at the Ark when it's in full swing. The fighting rings are loud and rather rowdy." She led the girl out the door of the Ark, motioning to the stool that Jackal often sat on. "The Ark has pretty decent security. But I'll ask Aiden or Raven to make sure that Jackal knows who you are. If I'm not at the burlesque or at home, I'm likely here, and if you ever need to get in touch with me, I want to make sure you can get in. After all," Samantha flashed her a playful smile. "If I'm meant to be your queen, it'd probably be helpful that you can find me."

Samantha led the woman through the Western district, nibbling on her lower lip as they walked. "I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I'm... close with the Alpha of that Were pack. Aiden. He's my boyfriend, so I spend a lot of time there. I know it's kind of... weird... for a faerie to date a Were, but he's..." Samantha's smile grew softly as she glanced over at the fae girl beside her. "He was the first person that made me feel like being a faerie wasn't the worst thing in the world. Because it certainly feels like that, I think." She was pressing, she supposed, trying to gain information on the woman beside her. "It was hard at first. I realized I could never see my family again. How could I explain what I am now to them? Where I went? What happened to me?" She shook her head, the memories of realizing she was alone flooding back to her, and the emotions that went with it near paralyzing. "Did you tell your family?"
