West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I'm sure being a mother puts a protective instinct in Nadya and she certainly proved that before she even had cubs of her own. She saved me the first night we met, after all. I'll never forget that and I've trusted her ever since, even when I could tell that her and Raven didn't exactly get along. I hope they've been doing better as friends since. After all, I can tell by the scent on Nadya that she's been around the Nightshade pack.

Ever since the shopping trip, Nadya and I haven't had a lot of time to talk and hang out and I feel bad about that. She's one of my few friends in Sacrosanct and I don't want to lose anymore. I already lost Raven, maybe for good. It's easy to see what Nadya wants, her rubbing against my leg and flicking of her tail a universal signal to play, and we both know it'd be easier with both of us being animals. I race through the panther's legs once I've shifted, hearing her pleasant sound behind me as I race through the alleyway. I know she can easily outdistance me in a race but I still have my power of silence when running so I know if I can get out of eyesight, I can have a chance to surprise her.

I can hear her voice in my head and I turn to glance behind me, making sure I can still dodge if I need to. I know she won't hurt me but it's still more fun to make it challenging. "I had to run. My former pack found me. They wanted me dead." My voice sounds bitter to me, even in my head. " I shrug at her second question. "I was looking for food. I smelled a fresh pork roast cooking so I came to investigate." Probably not a good excuse to go into pack territory but I happen to know most of the Nightshade pack so I was at least hoping they wouldn't kill on sight. Maybe Tobias would after our last meeting. I still need to seek him out, alone preferrably, and find out just what that was about.

I dodge her large paw as she swats at my side, feeling her jaws close gently around my scruff so I instantly throw myself to the ground to roll out of her loose grasp, coming back up to nip at the tender part of her nose though it's only a bunt if anything. As I get back to my paws, I leap for her back, scrabbling with my claws for purchase in her fur as I slide down her neck and try to grasp one of her rounder ears in my jaws, tugging at it playfully if I grasp it before I jump off to the side and circle back around.

I shake my head. "No, I'm alone." Always alone, it would seem.
