West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

bring me back to life

Raven has been through some atrocities in her life that I could never get close to empathizing with. What Frost did to her was horrific. I tell myself all the time that it should have been me. He was trying to hurt me by going after those I care about but it should have been me getting thrown around like a ragdoll. I should have been the one with bones breaking, not her. She didn't do anything to deserve it but try to protect me. I should have stepped in to protect her. I should have done something, anything. But I was weak then and only stood by and watched like a coward. I hate myself every day for that.

What her family did was worse. Family is supposed to protect its own, that much I know. Even though my father didn't do that either, I still know that much about family. I watched the other members of my pack enough to find out. I saw the way other families were with each other and they didn't act like my father did.

She's stronger than I think even she knows and I know she doesn't take compliments well enough to tell her so. She didn't hole up in the Ark forever like she could have after that attack from Frost. Here she is out in the woods alone. She doesn't let it stop her from living and I admire that about her, among many other things. When I ask about the faces of those you kill, I know I'm pretty much spelling out what happened to my father but I know if there's anyone I can trust to know, its her. I should have already known the answer to my question though. Her voice is like a heavy weight on my shoulders, warning me of how the rest of my life will be. The nightmares I've experienced since that night aren't going to go away. The will continue to haunt me.

Air hisses through my teeth as I inhale sharply. Of course that's not what I wanted to hear but I knew she would tell me the truth, no matter how ugly. I look away for a moment, my own gaze distant. But her own breathing brings me back to the moment and I lower my head, listening to her last words as I gulp and nod. I look back at her, my eyes glistening with tears. "And I'm sorry, for what happened to you. I wasn't a good friend to you that day. I should have done something, protected you the way you've always protected me. I failed you as a friend and I understand if you hate me forever. I was weak, a coward. You deserve better." I sniffle and look away, wiping at my eyes angrily cause I don't want her to see me like this.
