West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It had simply not occurred to the boy that Samantha may not understand the marbles or their use, his ability to so perceive the emotions of others based upon expression alone decidedly lacking and as such he perhaps fails to register this look of confused disappointment upon her features. The boy simply assured he had done just as she asked and provided a weapon used for hurting but that would not kill. After all, it is hardly the fault of the shaggy-haired deviant that Samantha does not understand how to truly use the marbles as they were intended, his mind simply connecting her to Tetra and indeed, since Tetra most surely knows, then by this logic, Samantha too must understand their concealed secrets. Her thanks earns her little more than a grin, one that dances teasingly upon his features for a moment before dropping abruptly and returning his youthful face to an entirely expressionless façade. Tobias, after all, was often given to forget some gestures need be held longer then others. Whether the boy truly feels any joy at all in his having assisted her or he merely mimics an action he knows she anticipates remains to be seen. His attention already turned to other matters.

It takes barely a moment to tear open his wardrobe, unleashing a plethora of objects from within- the unfortunate Raven surely left with quite the task tonight before he proceeds to upend his box of treasures entirely atop the Fae girl, pilfering though the contents until he finds that which he seeks- an Angry Snake and a Car, holding each out to the girl in a determined effort that she should make her choice between them. He waits until Samantha reaches for the Dragon, withdrawing the car for himself before clamouring onto the bed beside her, his own rather giant frame somehow folded into a similar cross-legged position. The woman's assurance that the Angry Snake was, indeed, called a Dragon only sees his features frown once more- eyeing her critically now.

"Name is....not Dragon. It's name is.....Graham."

He speaks the words as if they should have been so entirely obvious and that Samantha is surely foolish for having not anticipated that the dragons name was indeed, Graham. That she is attempting to name the creature for its species has clearly not occurred to him, Tobias placing his car upon the bed sheets, beginning to drive it neatly about and with particular care before this notion of Queens and Dragons is presented to him. For several moments still the boy is content to eye the woman before him, almost as if to consider such a proposition and knowledge that she is, in fact, some sort of Queen.

"Tetra is....Alpha....this is like Queen?"

His words hold a distinct question within them, curious perhaps, if Samantha was an Alpha in much the same way as his own companion, Tobias struggling to place her upon the hierarchy of his mind before he shakes his head.

"No....I do not have....tower."

Of this he remains assured, head nodded now with some certainty before he moves again to drive his little car, steering it over Samantha's leg and back down onto the blanket, his words coming suddenly- black gaze no longer looking at the woman as he speaks.

"Do you....love Tetra?"

madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
