West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Raven was absolutely accustomed to helping an individual navigate and understand the ways of society in this modern world. There were times she questioned just why society did what they did, and yet, she couldn't change it. All she could do was teach Tobias what she knew and help him navigate and understand the social customs that would be expected of him, or things he shouldn't do at all. There were days when it was difficult, but Raven was such a patience creature, patient enough to be considered a saint. Dorian, after she met him, reminded her in a way of her mate. He was quite out of place with how society was right now, but it was understandable. After all Dorian came from a completely different place in time. Raven was happy to have met the ancient Fae King and it was good that he had managed to join Sam's monarchy and become a trusted friend. Her eyebrows furrowed as Sam apologized for calling herself a prostitute. Raven was quite aware that her clothes, in no shape or form, ever hinted that she was a lady in the streets. Shaking her head she politely spoke up giving the Fae Queen a soft small smile.

"He never called me that. He did fairly well with me actually. He made a few remarks that would cause a Were to attack him, but he will learn, it takes time. It is good you have him for a friend."

As they continued down the cobblestones along the nicer part of the West District the lupine listened as Sam answered her question. Raven had no inkling of what would occur should the relationship between the two leaders of their families deepen. It was obvious that both packs would be close to one another, perhaps allies, but she had no idea if they would run separate. Although Sam was learning the Weres customs it was easy for her to accidentally make a mistake. Whatever would happen Raven assumed it would at least be good for everyone. As Raven opened the door to the library she noticed how Sam nearly tripped over herself, by her automatic unemotional response. With a shrug of her shoulders she calmly explained it a bit further.

"When Nadya introduced them for the first time, I was curious and hurt at the same time. The children belong to Tobias. Neither one of them could control their new powers; so their accident turned into a permanent consequence. We had another member of the pack come to see them too, but she wanted to attack them, because in her pack only the Alphas were allowed children. I helped stop her, but even that didn't help me be seen as someone that can be trusted around the cubs. Besides, there are moments when I am not myself, the other side comes out."

Quietly she followed after Sam, her hands shoving into the pockets of her hoodie. Blue-grey eyes steadily scanned over the colorful books, not truly reading the names or authors printed on them. Like dark shadow she followed Isolt, Raven's mind completely elsewhere. With a shrug of her shoulders she muttered softly, not wanting their conversation to be overheard by others. The woman went still for a moment within the aisle, her hand sliding out of her pocket as her fingers gently trailed over the different spines of the books, focusing on their smooth texture as she spoke.

"Nadya made the order and Tetradore obliged. After all she is there Mother. He did try to make it fair though for me. He decided that it would switch off, every other full moon I will be allowed to be with the pack and the cubs will not be when I am with them. At other times, like this one, they will be with the cubs and I will not be with them. Do not mettle yourself in this one Sam, what's done is done."
