West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

You would think someone, especially of their kind, would be eagerly following them to the closest exit in order to escape some twisted form of "ownership" that involved being marked with a collar. It was beyond degrading for their kind to be forced to such lows, a mark that would have other Weres simply drift by ignoring your mere presence for you were no longer considered one of them. However, Nadya and Tobias couldn't just leave their leader like that, they had to try to get him to freedom and that's what packs did...they protected each other. The fact that Tetra's imprisonment was far from simple and he was only refusing their help to keep them from joining the ranks of servitude was lost on the young pair. Nadya paused when Tetra wouldn't budge, a hardened look settling in his eyes as if the very thought of leaving bothered him. "What are you doing? Let's go, you're a Tetradore...you shouldn't be here." She tried to remind him of his bloodline, as if that would make a difference, the very fact of being a Tetradore having earned him to simply be called by it. As children when people would ask their names and find out who they were, their responses generally consisted of "Ah, you're a Tetradore" thus leading them to simply shorten and call Aiden by Tetra so no one ever had any doubt what family he came from.

Nadya hardly had any time to find another reason in which to convince her brother to come with them as a woman slunk from the shadows to his side. The way the woman cozied up to her brother caused a reaction similar in both her and Tobias of confusion and disgust. The woman smelled like a mixture of earth and some exotic spice like the man who she had been dancing with which let Nadya know they were of the same species. The way Tetra reacted to her was unsettling, picking up the way he flinched from the proximity but yet unwilling to move, the grumbling disdain in his tone. He did not like the woman but yet did nothing about it. It bothered Nadya, a twinge to her instincts which told her to seek the exit once more but like Tobias was stubborn and unwilling to leave her brother behind. Despite her and Tobias' bickering, in situations like this she was more than willing to let Tobias assume the lead, pressing herself more firmly behind him to accept him as a shield. Her brother's introductions of them seemed barely audible, a grudging response to the posed question and it was then that Nadya felt a cool warmth tease at her body, restricting her movements from fleeing and creating a gravitational pull to the woman. It was like a strong suggestion, and Nadya immediately hated it, feeling like her ability to choose was stripped completely away, flaring that stubborn side of her more than Tobias ever had.

She couldn't run from the situation but it didn't mean she had to be pleased about being there now. Nadya smoothed a hand down the side of her dress as she shifted behind Tobias, once again guided by his movements to use him as a shield. Their words intrigued her to some extent, raising a brow as she glanced from Tobias to the woman, knowing full well the power he possessed when it came to biting. "He does...have an issue with biting." Nadya had had to save many an innocent victims from his mauling mood swings so didn't doubt, and somewhat hoped, that he would give this woman a run for her money. The woman looked like she was long overdue for someone to knock her down a few pegs. She was interested in the results much as she had been when her dance partner had decided to try and "win" her back from Tobias, though this time her stance was firmly for Tobi instead of against him. "Let's go, Aiden wants to stay here on his own." Nadya plucked and tugged lightly at the back of the vest she had dressed Tobias in, hoping to gain his attention away from the vampire woman who was starting to give her the creeps. His attempts at distraction could be considered juvenile, causing Nadya to roll her eyes slightly, her growing irritation due more to the fact that he kept pushing back against her. She had no problem with him standing in front of her like a shield but the yanking and pushing around flared her stubborn side. "Would you stop pushing me?" Nadya hissed lowly at him, though she did shift back as much as the curled power of gravitation would let her in order to put some room between her and Tobias again.
