West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was a silly idea really. How something so simple as this singular shared moment might mean so much to that shaggy-haired deviant. It was rare he was afforded any true length of time in charge of that shared body and he was selfish perhaps, in at least part of his ideals. He wanted to see that cityscape as much as he wanted to show it to Raven. He wanted to hold the woman because he was so rarely ever allowed. He wanted to tell her entirely what he felt if only because he was so forever denied and this, perhaps, was his way of attempting to do just that. To show her just what that other side of himself was so incapable off and yet surely felt all the same. The frustrations of his half-life were oppressive at best and torturous at worst. He tried to speak so often and words came out wrong or jumbled or confused and people stared towards him like he was a fool incapable of that understanding. How difficult it was to be trapped inside something that did not work when those around you seemed to achieve existence so easily. Existence. It was that alone he so struggled for, a struggle that was becoming more and more difficult and yet one he rarely chose to acknowledge. He was present less and less and yet why he hardly knew. Perhaps this was why he was so rarely left in charge, all the thoughts he might have that were far too complex and complicated and confusing! Tonight, surely, he was best left to simply enjoy the moment he had worked so hard to create for the both of them. Her tease about his being a teenager seeing a ready smirk trace his lips, that throaty chuckle, a sound his other half was near incapable of making, slipping between his lips.

"Let's just say I'm old enough to be legal for the things that matter then."

Without any knowledge of his birthday, after all, his true age could hardly ever be known. Knowledge of that illusive to both sides of himself. One eye lifting upward in that unspoken tease all the same as he drew the girl ever closer, his lips finding her own with the renewed fervour. After all, was that not what this very spot was for? Truly it was almost a shame there were no teenagers present for them to be shown just how proper making out was done. Tobias entirely determined to put himself, or at least, that other side of himself, to shame in this department before Raven moved to lean away just slightly, Tobias allowing his hand to fall from the side of her face where he had tucked that stray lock of hair. Those innate desires she seemed to hold to be 'free' to experience life a little more wildly then she had before seemed to tease that lopsided grin back into place all the same. He could hardly deny she had perhaps chosen just the right companion, in that other part of himself, if attempting to live life without rules was her truest desire. How ridiculous it was that she, a woman so bound by the morals and rightness of the world might have taken any interest in a man inclined to defy nearly every social convention over and over again. Her query as to just when she did not allow him control saw the man pause, eyes lifting briefly upward as if to consider the question even though he surely knew the answer already. A sigh forced from his lips before he regarded the woman evenly once more.

"You let me lead about ninety two percent of the time- the rest is all you though. Still, you could follow my lead a little bit more, if you truly want to try living. Don't follow me over a cliff though, god knows I'd probably jump."

He was, if nothing else, entirely capable of finding amusement in his own situation. Tobias assured his other half was inclined to at least some activates that Raven was entirely better off not following no matter how exciting they surely seemed and yet he meant those words all the same. There was a distinct difference, after all, to being led and following freely. The dark-haired man inclined to believe if Raven so allowed herself a little more rein in life she might find far more the one surprise. For tonight however, he was content to play that role of leader a little more, shifting the woman with abrupt ease into his lap, letting his arms tighten around her waist in a wholly instinctive, possessive gesture and yet he hardly cared to correct himself. His lips found the soft skin of her neck with ease, kissing that soft pattern along it as her fingers stroked at the back of his own. How sensitive she was when she let herself merely react without too much thought, Tobias assured overthinking was part of the girl's worries, his teeth finding that lobe of her ear if only to see how easily he might shut her thoughts down.

That hand that reached for the side of his face saw the man pause, a part of him so believing she was asking him to stop, Tobias fully preparing to lean away before she leaned into him in turn, surprise alighting his features for the barest of moments before her lips pressed to the corner of his own. This was an entirely new sort of boldness from the often chaste woman, her lips sliding down now to his own jaw line, her teeth teasing at the skin in a fashion that stirred the softest of groans from the man. Her hands grasped the sides of his jacket, tugging him softly closer until her forehead rested against his own, her cheeks flushed with pink at her own sudden boldness. Whatever words he had been about to offer her were stolen as her lips found his own once more, his own breath, for the first time, holding the faintest note of unsteadiness as his grip upon her tightened. Here, atop the car, was perhaps not the place to show her fully all those things he wanted to and yet with that simple utterance of permission he was more than willing to at least offer her a taste of what she could have if only she allowed it to be so. One hand reached forward then, tilting her head softly to his own to allow those golden black eyes to meet her own.

"Then let me show you how to kiss properly first, the way a woman should be kissed."

It was, he knew, such unexplored ground for Raven and perhaps even to himself....to an extent. Such knowledge existed for him and yet how it did he hardly knew. Those memories too damaged and broken and water-logged to ever find the clarity of how he knew and as such he hardly questioned them. Instead- he simply let his lips find the softness off her own again, this time allowing his tongue to press forward and brush across her lips, encouraging her to part them and let his tongue find her own in that truly intimate French kiss he was assured his other half hardly knew how to do and that Raven had, thereby, never truly experienced before. He shifted slightly forward, deepening that exploratory kiss now before at last pulling away to fix the woman with a soft grin once more.

"If a man can't kiss you like that- he shouldn't be kissing you at all."

The words were little more than a heated murmur, Tobias simply leaning forward once more to kiss her again. This time, however, he let his hands slip from her waist, resting on her thighs before sliding them upward and beneath the fabric of her dress though he hardly pressed any further within such uncharted territory, allowing Raven to get used to his hands resting there and the simple idea of, perhaps, allowing him to move them as his lips broke from her own. His head tilted then to let them brush along her neck, travelling down until he reached that fabric of her dress. Eyes glancing to her own, lips still on her skin as he spoke against it.

"This....this is in the way."

One finger reached forward, gently brushing down just one strap of that dress to expose her bare shoulder, lips running across it before he paused a final time, the easy grin finding his lips now. His words gentle all the same, that affection undeniable. For all he wanted, for all he desired her he was hardly willing, even now- to go any further then she was ready for.

"If you don't want to be totally free here and now, Birdie, you should probably stop me."
