West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
I kind of felt a little bad that no one had ever given Alexis a birthday party before - at least, I'm assuming that no one had ever given her one before. She seemed pretty taken back by this whole birthday ordeal, like she didn't quite know what one really was. I was determined to fix that though. That's what good friends did right? They gave their friends birthday parties and memorable moments and made them feel ultra extra special! Alexis certainly deserved to feel ultra special. Hell, she deserved a good friend! I wasn't going to disappoint her! Nope! Still, I got a little side tracked, the mention of that cake bringing my thoughts right back to where they should be - on cake! Cake, cake, cake! A small shrug crossed my shoulders as Alexis asked which kind, "Whatever kind you want, Alexis! It's your birthday! We can get a white cake with white frosting or a yellow cake with chocolate frosting or a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting or we can get something fancy like...a red velvet cake or something..." In truth, I haven't actually had all the cakes I've listed, but I've seen pictures of them online and I've heard of them! Okay, maybe this cake thing would be just as exciting for me as it was for her. After all, the sweets I had where I grew up were nothing like the ones I'd had here!

I found myself continuing on about what we could surely do for her birthday - besides just getting an orange and a cake. After all, if she liked books, she should definitely get one for her special day! It didn't seem all that out of her way, even if they'd only just met. I couldn't help the way I absolutely beamed as Alexis informed me that it sounded like a great birthday - yay!!! I really wanted her to love it! I was already planning the event in my head when we started talking about books. It was really sweet of her to offer to teach me to read, I almost felt bad admitting I knew how. Still, I wasn't oblivious to the way she looked at me with such awe when I told her of the school I went to as a child. It was entirely lackluster when compared to the schools here. Definitely not like those tv shows with those perfect clean amazing classrooms, what I wouldn't have given to go to a school like that! Still, I was quite proud of myself when I mentioned that college I'd worked so hard to get into, that enthusiastic sound of Alexis' voice caused me to giggle. "I am going silly! That's why I'm here! It's winter break right now though, I'm kind of scared to go." The truth fell from my lips far too easily but I was never really all that secretive of a creature. "I hear the colleges here are really big with lots of people." I couldn't help the way I fidgeted. What if none of them liked me? What if I got lost? What if I was in over my head? I guess, at least I had Alexis as a friend. Even if I didn't make friends at school, that counted for something.

I was excited to meet Alexis' other friend! I liked meeting people and maybe I could become friends with her too and then all three of us would be besties! How amazing would that be?! I thought it sounded awesome and Alexis was willing to introduce us. This could be so great! I didn't dwell on it long, however, before she'd asked me about my parents and soon enough I was going on and on about them. I mean, I love them so much, it's only natural right? I couldn't help the smile on my lips as Alexis claimed my family was amazing and warmly I nodded in agreement. They had been amazing. I missed them. I missed those times we'd spent together. But now I have to grow up all by myself. I'd be okay though, I was determined to do them proud. However, now was not the time to dwell on that. Now was the time to dwell on COFFEE. I listened to her intently as she shook her head, unwilling to make me this coffee only because she didn't know how. "Weeeellll...." I started, dragging the word out, "Maybe Alexander can teach you when you take me to see it?! That would be cool, wouldn't it?!" After all, I was determined to try my friend's coffee, clearly we just had to get over this whole making it hurdle! It couldn't be that hard, could it?
