West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She was quite impressed that she had managed to bring her companion into the bathroom. Raven was aware how much her mate despised water, and anything that had to do with water. No one ever asked, but it was always difficult to be around him when he hadn't bathed. The stench was absolutely abhorred and yet she had grown to tolerate it. Thankfully Jackal and Tetradore were capable of doing the tedious task of forcing the boy to take a shower. When they dragged him into that room and closed the door, it pained her to hear him shout. It was natural for her to want to defend her mate, but this was something she wouldn't protect him from. Whether it was common sense to never challenge her Alpha, or the desperate desire to have Tobias be clean, Raven would disappear while he was trapped in there. Be it the adrenaline that was coursing through her veins from the aftermath of the fight or the reigniting of her inner self-confidence, Raven was determined to get her mate clean in a more...civil manner. That he affirmed his trust to her vocally seemed to encourage Raven to continue. As he lifted her shirt, although she was a bit embarrassed for him to see her like this, it was important he see that he was not the cause of her being hurt. With the way his eyes focused on her bruised side it seemed he comprehended what she had said earlier. To help him be comfortable she gave him a shot of being in control, allowing him to take her bra off and help her out of the rest of her clothes. Of course the girl was a bit embarrassed to stand before him in this way now wasn't the time to have hesitation, she needed him to follow her to the shower. She could feel how he held onto her hand, how he tugged, but she would not give in, she continued on entering the shower and letting go. It was still his decision whether he would come and join her. Gently she called out to him while she allowed the warm water to fall down on her.

"It will be okay Tobi, I promise."

He needed to see that the shower could be safe and that the water did not have to hurt him. Hell, she needed to get the blood off them after the fight. As she turned around, she stood patiently as he shook his head in defiance. She would not give in. Surely after winning that physical fight the woman was brave enough to enter into another one. As he took a step into the shower, she noticed how tense he was. She could smell the fear on him, and although part of her wanted to react upon it, she would not. Instead she waited patiently for him to settle in his own space, knowing she needed to give him a moment to settle. As she reached out for the washcloth, out of the corner of her eye she noticed his sharp flinch, a look of concern thrown his way. How she wished he would understand she would never harm him, how a simple object of a washcloth wouldn't hurt him either. Although Tetra and Jackal did what was necessary to get the job done, to get him cleaned, Raven wish it wasn't done in such a harmful way. As the water ran down her shoulder and back she stood patiently, waiting for her mate to get comfortable. How many times did her mate want something from her when she was absolutely terrified or uncomfortable? She understood entirely and it is with that knowledge and empathy she watched him as she smiled sweetly at him, as if she weren't bothered at all by the time. With a nod of encouragement she grinned as his finger touched the wash cloth, amused that he would scowl. As his fingers began to travel up her arm she shivered at his touch, delighted by it. When he took a step forward she would press her lips against his jaw, allowing the warm water to trickle over her shoulder and neck, doing so in a way so that the water would touch him, slowly getting him used to it. She watched the soap bubbles rise along her arm, watching how his slowly moved his fingers the girl taking delight in this new touch against her slick skin. As he placed the washcloth to the top of her head she rolled her eyes, taking it off as she placed it back in her hand, kindly correcting him.

"No, Tobias. It is a wash cloth and you use it to wash yourself, like this."

She would bring the washcloth, and this time, place it on his other arm pressing it gently and letting it travel up his arm, getting rid of some of the blood that was there. She would place the washcloth on the shelf as she grabbed the soap again. This time she would place the soap liquid along her arm, and then along her other arm, and then let it graze along her neck. Strategically putting the soap in certain locations that would allow him to touch. Eager to get him to participate more in hopes that maybe he would learn to like it. After all, she learned over time that he learned better by repetition. Perhaps this sort of 'play' might encourage him to continue on the next time he needed a bath. If he could only see that this was a good thing, then he may not ever have to fear the water again. Placing the soap back down she began to rub the soap from her arm and brought her hand down and over to her neck and down her chest. It was so easy to tempt her mate to join in. She took a step back making him come closer to her and the water. A coy smile appeared as she made them come back, the bubbles he seemed eager to see and touch. When he approached closer and touched, she would wipe the soap from her other arm and place it on his own, allowing her hands to travel, enjoying the touch of his slick skin, as she began to clean away the soap. Easily she placed a gentle kiss on his lips, grinning as she continued, gently touching, if only to entice him a little bit more. Softly she murmured to her mate, blue-grey eyes lifted to meet his own darkened gaze.

"The bubbles in the soap don't last long, but if you rub the soap the bubbles will appear again. Remember we're supposed to make the blood go away, see?"

She takes her hand and gently rubs it against his bloodied chest to let the soap suds and water brush it all away, showing him again what needed to be done...and have some fun in between.
