West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Second star to the left, and straight on til' morning

Pan was called to the sea. The boy always was. At night, he dreamed of the ocean, falling asleep to the hushed ripple of waves against the surf. His memories were fuzzy, but his love for the water was anything but. It was as if the fairy were born to sail upon it, destined to follow the night sky toward the horizon, desperate to dive beneath the surf and feel at home once more. In another time, in another place far from here, he'd been a water elemental. Of course, those memories like all the others, were gone. But his wanderlust brought him here tonight, toward the pulsing surf, and toward the stranger.

In the boys wake there was a blur of a creature, racing along the dark sand with an urgency. Oliver! Pan called after his companion with a hushed whisper, running after the otter as fast as his bare feet could take him. He stumbled over rocks, but hardly missed a beat... for his feet were tough and leathery from traversing without shoes for so long. His jeans were torn and ragged, his shirt haphazardly hanging to one side as he deftly tied the waist into a knot to keep it from blowing in the wind. He had dirt on his face, and a twinkle of mischief in his eye. And most of all, Pan had adventure in his heart.

Faltering over the hills, he followed the sound of the ocean waves, growing closer now as sea birds began to stir in the breaking dawn. His sight began to adjust, and for a moment, Pan is lost in the splendor of the sky as it turned shades of pink and gold. The peace didn't last long though, for as he stood unguarded on the hill, the she-beast appeared. For a moment, the child simply looks at the cat, gathering up his otter friend and stuffing him carefully into his backpack.

On the horizon, she looked fierce and wild â€" an echo of his own restless heart. And that heart was pounding now, so loud that Pan simply knew the cat could hear it. He wasn't afraid (at least that's what he was telling himself), but he was in awe. Only after his staring might seem rude does Pan clear his throat, hesitantly stepping toward the cat with a quiet Hello?, as he reached his child-hand out toward her.

First the wolf, now the tiger... it seemed life here would be far from boring.
