West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She loved that Abigail had listened to her so carefully to know to decorate the house in her favorite color. Everything was so green that it reminded her instantly of a forest and she felt more at home. She could tell that Abigail was waiting with bated breath for a reaction but at first she was too speechless. Everything was just so....overwhelming. And beautiful. And well thought out. Abigail was too kind to her. She heard Abigail giggle when she finally managed to get one word out. It seemed to be enough as Abigail ushered her to the table of oranges. When she asked about them, Abigail nodded and explained the different kinds. Alexis' eyes widened as she watched her point out each kind, already thinking how delicious they would be later. She wasn't going to eat them in front of her friends, of course. That would just be rude. But she did hope Abigail would let her take some in a bag home so she could snack on them to her heart's leisure. She did love fruits, especially oranges.

Abigail responded to Raven, letting her know that she wanted everything to be exciting. Alexis couldn't stop grinning as she looked around. She hoped Raven was happy that she had come with her. It wouldn't be the same without her best friend at her side. Abigail explained that she only got one birthday a year and that her and Raven should enjoy it together. She smiled in appreciation, glad that Abigail was so accepting of Raven even though they'd never met before. She glanced at Raven, hoping she wasn't feeling too left out.

"I don't know if I'll ever get used to this one, let alone having another birthday next year."

She smirked teasingly. It was a lot to get used to after years of not doing anything for it. She looked at the mysterious wrapped boxes in curiosity. They were oddly about the right shape for books and they had that paper smell to them through the wrapping paper. She was certain that they weren't food, anyway. She wondered if this was what Abigail meant by her and Raven doing it together, since she had shared that Raven had been the one to teach her to read. Then Abigail told her that they were supposed to eat cake first and she pointed out all the different cakes she had gotten so she could choose one for next year. Alexis beamed at her, so grateful for everything the other girl had done for her.

She watched as Abigail opened another box with more cakes, telling her to share with other friends and Alexis found herself thinking of the pack she had stayed with for a while on the Ark. She knew Tobias liked sweets so maybe it would help ease some of the tension between them. And the other members surely would want a piece or two too. She smiled, glad that she could contribute something. She nodded.

"I'm sure they'll love them. Thank you."

It seemed like the polite thing to say. She noted that Raven strayed a little at first, seemingly paying close attention to a bunch of the floating things that Alexis couldn't wrap her head around either. Seems she might not be the only one not sure of them. But finally Raven returned to them to ask why the mandarin oranges were Abigail's favorite. Alexis perked up as well, curious to learn something new about Abigail. Raven seemed confused about the wrapped presents, giving her a shrug and Alexis only smirked, sure that she would understand better when she unwrapped them and showed her what they were. She knew Raven loved to read. As Abigail showed them the cupcakes, Raven chuckled and said that she wouldn't see them again if she gave some to Tetra and Tobi. Alexis raised a brow. She never knew that Tetradore liked sweets too. She was learning something new all the time. She smirked back.

"I'll make sure to only give them some then, so we can hoard the rest."

As Raven reached for a cupcake, she did the same, curious of how they tasted. They all smelled great. She took a bite of one and hr eyes lit up. It tasted like strawberries and cream! She devoured it and then looked at Raven in curiosity when she asked how they met. She glanced at Abigail and then back, swallowing the rest of her cupcake before answering.

"I met her on the Ark, actually. She had gone there with some man and then wandered away and gotten lost."

She glanced over at Abigail, wondering if she would want to add anything.
