West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She found that she loved to tease him if only because she was able to see a different side of the man than the panther who only seemed to tolerate her presence before. It was more like a parent and a child when they were in were form before but here she felt more like an equal with him and though she was a little bummed that her alpha and him didn't seem to get along, she wouldn't let it bother her too much because she would still hang out with him and be his friend. She enjoyed that playful look he often gave her now and so she had too much fun playing with his ego by telling him that he scowled too much. He told her that she did a lot too so she explained why and gauged his reaction. He said something odd then, something that would stick for her for a while as she scowled and tried to understand it. Then she snorted and shook her head.

"See? There you go again, being weird and stuff."

She was momentarily distracted when a drink was put in front of her and she was quick to make it disappear, only to find words coming a little less clearly to her. She didn't panic though. She felt far too giddy and calm for that. She asked about fun and now she got to see him frown as he grew thoughtful. Was there just nothing to do that ws considered fun or was he just not used to doing any of that? That was sad in itself and something she just couldn't abide by. If she was to hang out with him then they needed to have some sort of fun. Finally he told her of races and a fighting ring. He mentioned cars and her brows furrowed. She knew of the cars but wasn't quite comfortable riding in them. She often felt they were like a trap on wheels, some sort of cage that would only insure death if they ever crashed. The mention that they were trying not to crash during these races only seemed to confirm that.

She had a lot more questions about things like drifting but decided to hold her tongue and just see for herself. She liked the sudden glint in his eyes and the smirk on his face when he talked about racing. Seems she had found something he seemed to enjoy. She smirked.

"See? A lot more attractive that way."

He seemed to agree that she would be better off in the ring if she were sober but finally said that they could go to the races and she clapped her hands together in a yay expression, her eyes lighting up like fireworks as she stood up with him. He put money on the table and she stared at it for a moment, wondering why he put it there instead of giving it to someone but she remembered vaguely that her and Henry had had this same arguement and not much seemed to come of it so she shook her head and followed him out instead. She didn't show any fear as they got into the shadier parts of town, though even in her tipsy state, she knew to follow her instincts when other people got too close. She was still wary of her surroundings and when she felt uncomfortable about something, she would move closer to Tet until she was pretty much brushing his arm with every step. She somehow knew that being closer to him was better here.

It would seem he was pretty well known around here. She kept hearing people calling his name and greeting him as they walked through toward the sounds of roaring engines. She glared at a few guys who looked at her too long, her lip even curling in warning at some and when one guy reached out to grab her ass as she walked by, she caught his wrist with lightening reflexes and snarled in his face until he took a step back, rubbing his wrist. She forgot sometimes that she was really strong when she wasn't pulling her punches and it showed in the deep bruises already glaring against the man's skin. She could smell that he was a were though so she knew he would heal fast. In fact, most of these people around them smelled of weres. She leaned closer to Tet.

"Is this your pack or something?"

She turned to follow his gaze as he pointed out some cars. At first they were a little blurry but being in this kind of environment, her adrenaline was kicking up and her metabolism was starting to eat away at the effects of the alcohol. After a few blinks, she could make out the first car and she nodded. She frowned at him.

"That's not a spider. It only had four legs, not eight."

She said matter of factly. It was like a different language altogether when he told her what the other car was. Then he asked which one to bet on and she glanced between the two again before shrugging.

"Well I know some spiders are venemous and pack a heavy punch so I'll go with the spider. Not that I can even pronounce the other one you talked about."

She smirked at him, wondering what this whole betting thing was about. At least he seemed to be having a good time. She was trying to look at the cars again when someone moved past her trying to get closer and she stumbled, the effects of the alcohol still taking a toll. Gasping, she fell into Tet's chest before straightening up hurriedly and clearing her throat. She turned her blazing face away hoping he wouldn't see. Her contact with males has always been rare and often avoided and she was much more aware in this state. She was all too aware of his heat and how chiseled he was under that shirt with just the momentary touch and she'd never felt these human emotions before. Why would she be attracted to males in human form but she'd never felt anything for the coyotes? This was all new territory to her and she felt utterly lost, trying instead to focus on the cars as they got ready to take off. She glanced around them then back at the cars.

"So where do they go? Is it very far?"
