West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It had taken a while, but Raven learned that Jackal was one to be trusted. He wasn't a member of the pack, but he was a very close friend to them. There was a lot he had done for them and his services couldn't be repaid. The lupine wasn't bothered at all when the little Mexican man wanted her to follow him into the healing room. This particular room was meant only for those that needed the most intense potion to cure whatever wound or ache they had. They may be able to heal themselves quickly, but that didn't mean they could continue to fight back to back. A little bit of help never did hurt anyone. Though her hand was suffering from that acid attack. It was forbidden to fight in the ring with a little bit of unnatural help. Last she knew about otters they didn't have acidic salvia. Letting him expect her hand was hardly something that would cause her any concern. Blue-grey eyes were focused more on her beloved mate, knowing that he may have his own dislike about another male touching him. Raven didn't believe Jackal would do anything to harm her, he never did before she was Tobias' mate and she doubted he would now. Leaning in to kiss his cheek was her way to show her thanks for helping her out in the ring. Their challengers weren't quite good, it was an easy win, but she appreciated it all the same. A small grin appeared as she looked to her mate lovingly, amused that he had no idea what his fellow feline was called. Leaning in to kiss his cheek, she murmured softly a response to his innocent inquiry.

"Ocelot was that small spotted cat in the ring with us, it's like a tiny leopard...a tiny you."

The last time they won a fight the two of them were celebrating within their unused bed. It was natural for the two of them to be more attracted to one another in the aftermath of another victory. Two predators seeing each other attack and defend one another was quite an intense turn on for them. Hearing the purr within his throat was a sign that she should continue. Turning her frame towards him she continued to lean in closer, deepening the kiss until she felt a sudden throbbing pain in her head. Holding her hand to his chest to pause for a moment, she clutched the side of her head, closing her eyes, the pain only intensifying. Hearing the boy speak out asking if it was her head hurting, she nodded quietly, impressed that he would understand the pain she was feeling. Raven couldn't comprehend what was going on as a thick heavy feeling began to seep inside her mind. The pain she felt shifted from her head and then to her stomach. A fight like that left her in need of some sort of subsistence. Raising her head she sniffed the air following a familiar scent that only seemed to make her stomach growl. Her movement was no longer fluid. Rather it was off-beat, her gait short her arms swaying back and forth rapidly, like she was pinpointing on something. Finding that food and rudely jumping on the table, shoving the girl away and taking the steak was absolutely unlike Raven. As she tore into the steak with her teeth, gnashing away, her eyes glared at the male that dared to shout at her. Yet as her mate went to grab the other man, pulling him upwards and lifting him off the ground, she watched quite impressed. Snickering, mimicking Tobias hissing sound, her voice held such a lone broken tone.

"Bad boy...not...hurt...favorite."

To see her mate want to protect was quite a pleasing thing to see. Quietly she continued to eat the steak, crouching low on the table ignoring all the others. Indeed it was not typical behavior on her part. Raven constantly corrected her mate when he did something that was not socially allowed. Constantly she had to correct him over and over again, breaking him out of some serious bad habits. Sometimes she would get through to him and he wouldn't do what he shouldn't and at other times he would continue while the woman continued to try and help guide him down the right path. Her dial would tilt slightly above her steak as she stared at the man, listening to his words. This was her home. She knew the Ark was her home. From what she understood anything in her home belonged to her and so the steak was hers. She got it first. Nodding her head she repeated the words to Tobi of what she heard.

"Yes...Tobi not take...mine, mine!"

He did indeed say Tobi not take. The steak was hers and she was happy to continue eating it. When he made an attempt to reach for her steak, she bared her teeth snapping the air as she lowered her dial over the steak. This was her steak and she had no interest in sharing. With much ferocity she gobbled up the rest of her steak, stuffing it to her face, until every last morsel was gone. Licking her hands she looked up at him grinning, quite happy with herself. That he was not pleased with the way she spoke didn't concern her at all. Instead her mind went off for other things. Easily she shoved the patrons that were in her way. Her movements disjointed and off, ignoring the shouts and grunts she received. Heading towards the bar she leapt over the top grabbing the alcohol bottles, sniffing the top of them and shaking her head as she dropped the bottle to the floor, crashing and breaking the glass. As the staff hollered for her to stop, she ignored them, searching for the right liquid to drink. It was only when she saw one staff member grab the hose touching a button with liquid coming out, did she walk towards it. Yanking the hose away she pressed the buttons having the liquid spray a patron. Snickering she sprayed another button, finding it to be water as she began to lick from it, while some of the spray fell on patrons. As soon as she was done drinking, she yanked the hose farther out of its spot turning it around to spray the patrons that hadn't moved yet, the woman quite entertained.
