West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya shrugged easily, "Even if I was a part of the pack I wouldn't have been at that meeting. I don't take my children in the Ark unless I can guarantee that they won't see the fighting. I don't want them to see that kind of encouraged Were on Were fighting. There's enough of that in the outside world. They're getting older and more impressionable than they were when I lived there." It was a simply statement of facts. Even her burlesque business was being sold so she could confidently have her twins with her at work. Although her burlesque had no nudity, not even down to nipple tassels, she still didn't want them seeing the suggestive dancing.

However, she couldn't stop the snort of amusement that left her and it immediately ruffled Henry's feathers. "Oh I don't find someone's choice being taken away funny. My brother just acted so....high and mighty sometimes...that to see even he could mess up, that he too is human and can make mistakes...perhaps now he won't look down his nose at those who have also made mistakes in their life." Nadya could see quite well that Henry knew nothing of the pack's tumultuous past. It was perhaps best that way. He could form his own opinions that way without anyone guiding them.

"Don't get me wrong. I love my brother. In all his faults and successes, I will always love him. I cannot speak to how he feels about me but know when he makes a promise...he keeps it." Nadya sighed softly before returning to the true meaning of Henry's self-drowning. "My brother will tell you the same thing. The more you deny it, the more aggressive it will get and then it will really destroy those around you. I saw a man once almost rip his pregnant wife apart because he fought his animal so much. My father took him in and showed him the ways and the man was able to live a peaceful life afterwards. My brother can't force that though, only you can accomplish that. Tet can force you down and stop you when you rage but only you can find that peace to stop it from ever happening and turn it around to being an asset in protecting the ones you love."

Nadya finished her second drink and slid it away but didn't hail for another. She'd prefer to be sober when she jumped Frost later. She had no doubt that the scent of other males on her even in a non sexual manner would flare his possessive side for a rather delightful night. The young woman regarded Henry with some sympathy. "I know how it feels you know. I wasn't bitten but I went increasingly feral for months while I was unable to be with my children. I almost harmed my best friend, my practically sister-in-law, and I nearly killed another Were." That time had been very dark for her that she didn't like to bring up but it was a part of her past just as much as this part of his life would become past for Henry.

"Here's my number though if you ever want to talk or need a night out." Nadya jotted down her number on a napkin before closing that distance between them until her lips nearly touched his ear. "Tell my brother I said hi." Although she knew Henry wouldn't have to tell Tet as her scent would now be on him. Nadya slipped the napkin into Henry's pocket before stepping away.
