West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Oh how she loved spending time simply cuddling with her mate. There was nothing like it. Here within their hammock underneath the covers, wrapped within his arms, in a dark cool room, was where she would always find her solace. She would curl closer into his side sighing softly. There was no need to speak or whisper. Hearing their syncopated breathing, or listening to the soft thumb of their hearts beating, was a soothing sound. If she had it her way she would stay here like this all day shut off completely away from the world. It was almost like a form of therapy for her. For years she hardly had any sort of safe space that brought her a sense of security or solace. The cage she was kept in hardly gave her any sort of comfort or security. Anyone could open the door to the cage, anyone could poke or prod her through those bars, and anyone could drag her out. Those years of torment had done an immeasurable amount of damage to her well-being and state. And so, these moments spending solitude with her mate gave her mental health a chance to heal, a chance to see that she was okay, a chance to see that not everyone was cruel, and to feel that she could be loved. Raven quietly watched her mate sleep, those eyes holding such a tender gaze, grateful and appreciate of her mate and all that he was. He looked so peaceful, so happy, his handsome chiseled face not showing any sign of the torment or anger. Her left hand would move as she stroked his dark hair gently, the sun that barely peeked through the window managed to catch the cerulean stone embezzled in that white gold metal. A small smile flickered delighted still! He asked her a question most thought he didn't understand the concept of and she happily said yes! Raven didn't care what others thought of him, of them, they were happy and that was all that mattered.

Sadly though such a wonderful moment together couldn't last. Instead he woke up. His dark eyes flashing to her, that smile on his face made her smile back, as she felt his hand move to twist his finger around a curl. Of course she would move her head a bit to place a kiss on his lips, and then another, and another. Soon enough the two were tangled around one another, both of them taking the advantage of having a moment alone together, not needed by anyone in this moment. After that tender moment and a little bit of time of silently holding on to one another, the sound of the other staff members moving within the Ark saddened the she-wolf. It was time to leave her safe haven. Oh how she longed for the day to end, so that they would come back here at the end of the day. Reluctantly Raven moved out of the hammock slowly making her way towards the bathroom to get ready for the day. Lately she and Tetradore decided that Tobias should be on a schedule when it came to getting a shower. He would have to do it every other day. Today she would not be sharing a shower with her mate, but tomorrow she would. The warm water that pounded against her scarred, pale skin, brought her warmth, but it paled into comparison being within her spotted companion's arms in that bed. As she got out of her shower, she dried herself off, humming softly. Even though she was alone with her mate she still felt it was necessary to wrap the towel around herself. Exiting the bathroom she continued to hum as she made her way towards her wardrobe, opening the door and intending to dress herself. That was until she felt one arm loop around her waist, pulling her gently into her captor, releasing a soft giggle. As his lips pressed against the back of her neck, her eyes closed, as her body simply melted. His lips continued to move along the back, a soft sigh released as his fingers gently pulled her wet curls back and he placed his lips at the small of her neck. She shivered in delight as his whispered words tickled her sensitive skin. Softly she murmured to her mate, a hint of a smile noticeable within her words.

"It's been awhile since I last saw you."

The last time she had seen him like this was that late December night. The night she finally put down her guard and let him in entirely. Trusting that he would not hurt her, in any physical, emotional, or mental sense. It was a wonderful night. Dressing up in their finest clothes, going to such a high-class event, only to steal gifts, Raven following along with that tradition her mate and their deceased Alpha did together. The night led him to driving her to the South, to the tallest peak, looking over the city, and the two taking that next step in all relationships together. It had been wonderful, absolutely wonderful. It had been months since that last occurred. She last saw him in the winter and now it was this year's Fall, oh how she missed him. They were vastly different from one another, but she loved them both. Though she had much sympathy for the side of him that was always within the shadows. It was a shame he could not come when he pleased. But she would cherish these rare moments with him, knowing that she had to do whatever she could, to make him happy, to keep him happy...to keep him hoping for that chance to be free once more, when he could hardly wait any longer. When Tobi was proposing to her she hoped he could see, she hoped he knew what his other half was doing. His request to see the ring was answered by a nod, feeling his hand slide down to her wrist, she lifted it upwards. Beaming with pride her eyes focused upon that engagement ring. She couldn't help, but give him a wide grin, as she praised him, and his other half.

"He did a wonderful job, it's beautiful. He actually bought it in the store, he didn't steal it. Did you see the book he created for me, I finally understand what you mean when you say you see only me."

The book that Tobi had given her was sitting at the top of the bookshelf. Many times she would claim that this was her favorite book, out of her modest book collection. There were times when she was feeling low she would open the book to read the kind messages or look through the beautiful artwork finding it a good reminder to lift up her spirits. As his hand rested to her hip she listened earnestly about what his desire was for them to do together. Shopping in general was a difficult thing to do with her mate. He wasn't always on his best behavior in public. Sometimes he would steal and they were forced to run away. A coy smile appeared as she shrugged her shoulders slightly to let her towel fall just a little bit from her body. Her voice held such a teasing and playful tone, the girl had become quite more confident within their relationship.

"If you want me to go to the mall, you need to let me get dressed. You don't want me only in a towel like this out there do you?"

Her dial would tilt upwards as blue-grey eyes slid to look into those golden eyes of his, that coy smile remained placed on her lips He was a possessive creature. both of them were. The lupine could have sworn she saw a glint in his eyes, the man mentally disagreeing with her suggestion, already imagining how he'd fight off any males nearby. Of course she would turn in and give him a gentle kiss as she wrapped one of her arms around his waist. Her eyes would travel up and down, quite pleased to see him wearing the decent clothes he had yet to destroy. Moving away from him she turned back towards her wardrobe, as she let the towel fall, without thinking having her telekinesis used to place the towel back in the bathroom. Comfortable with standing before him like this she grabbed her undergarments placing them on, as she began to grab the rest of her clothes, putting them on quickly. It was kind of him to want to give her a gift, but Raven was the type of creature to always think of others. Tobias deserved something too! Gently she spoke attempting to persuade her mate to allow her to do something kind for him, even if he wouldn't give up his goal to buy her something.

"You don't have to give me something, the least I could do is get you something too!"
