West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

"Running your mouth on purpose no, but running your mouth on accident, yes. Believe it or not, I'm concerned for you, for everyone."

He didn't know. It wasn't his fault. It wasn't anyone's fault really. When it came to Nadya and Frost it was just a sensitive topic that caused the woman to grow increasingly apprehensive which resulted in her being overactive. No one could blame her for being like that. Not after everything occurred to her and her little shambled family. The she-wolf was quite overprotective when it came to her mate and green-eyed Alpha. Henry didn't understand the repercussions. The consequences that could occur if Frost would use this opportunity to exploit Henry and do more harm to them, and to the newly created Were-Panther too. There was no flinching when he raised his voice, defending himself and his actions. Her response was polite, but her tone was soft, assuring him as best as she could.

He didn't understand why she was being the way she was. So, Raven decided the best way to explain it, was to show. Using her telepathy and memories she showed him what had happened. Not only so he could understand, but also so that he would be aware what Frost looked like. After all now that he knew about Nadya it was possible that the blonde-haired brute would make his despicable appearance. When it came to her telepathy and forcing it into other's mind, Raven didn't really bother with asking for permission. She should have and yet she felt like she didn't need to do that. They were pack now and so to her that gave her automatic permission to communicate with him and share information. Quietly she gave a dejected nod when he inquired about Tetradore's sister's sleeping habits. It would seem that for some blood didn't matter.

It wasn't fair to their little family. It wasn't fair that the woman inflicted pain not only upon herself, but to her mate, and their Alpha. With Nadya gone the chance for her mate to bond with his twin mistakes was very low. That wasn't fair to the cubs nor was it fair to Tobias, he was their Father after all and he deserved to play apart in their life. Raven understood what it was like to be betrayed or unwanted by their own family members. There was no love she experienced from her own parents or those members that belonged to them. In a way she could understand how Tetradore was feeling, in a way. Henry's comment about not being able to shift on his own was met with a look of confusion. Of course he wouldn't be able to. With a helpless shrug she informed him just why it wouldn't work and what she was wanting to do.

"You're a new Were, so shifting can only occur under the full moon or when Tetra helps you. I don't think you'll shift on your own until after a full year or even longer. You aren't a natural were, so you really shouldn't feel ashamed or so worried. Besides I wasn't suggesting you shift, I was actually suggesting you to connect with it."

A small, encouraging grin appeared, as she grabbed his hand and held it in a reassuring manner. He would be okay. He had them now and they would do whatever they could to help him. Henry needed to know that, and Raven wasn't sure how he would comprehend that. It didn't help that her mate was very odd or that their shared Alpha was quite aloof and emotionally distant. Moving them away from the alleyways she led him out from the dingy alleyways into a small little wooded area, a small park-like area in the West that was along the edge of the suburban area of the city. She would lead the two of them through and stand over beside the small creek that ran through it. Gesturing for him to sit, she sat down, patting the ground in front of her.

"When your feral side isn't calling the shots, you'll be in control. Yet for now you need to help it learn, you need to influence it, to help it understand. When I was young and trapped in my cage, I would call out to my other half when I was a human. We could communicate with one another in a way. I want you to try to be still and close your eyes. Eventually, you should start to begin to feel something heavy in the back of your mind, lurking, pacing around. That is your panther. There are times when he'll feel angry, scared, sad, or happy. Can you tell how he feels...can you ask him? Trust me, you won't shift when you communicate with him like this."

It was a lot to do and she understood it would be a tad bit difficult to do and understand. After all he didn't understand. That was okay though. If anyone Raven was the one that could help another that was troubled by their feral side.
