West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He seemed to think she would enjoy horseback riding and she tried to feel the same enthusiasm. He explained that it can be freeing and she smirked. "That sounds nice." She tried to sound assured. When she thought of freeing, she thought of running through the woods in her fox form, completely free and natural. When she was human, she felt less free, more burdened by petty things like clothes and the laws of humankind. But Alexander lived here and she would trade that for anything. So maybe horseback riding would become a way for her to escape while in human form. Maybe it would be her freeing moment when she wasn't in fox form. She was willing to try it, for him. When she teased him about making slits in a dress to ride in, he seemed amused, telling her he wouldn't mind seeing that and she grinned, playfully slapping his shoulder. "I bet you wouldn't." Her eyes twinkled though, glad that she could make him so carefree with her.

She knew he would pick up on her hesitation when he asked about picking her up at home. He was too observant not to. But she didn't know if he would choose to pry into her mind for the answers. She didn't want his pity. She didn't want him to think he was obligated to do anything for her like that. It was enough to have his companionship, to know that he was hers. But she could see the worry on his features before he covered it back up with that patient smile of his. She was sure he was already thinking of all the worst reasons why in his head and she didn't want him to think like that. She wanted him to know that she trusted him and she wasn't even trying to stop him from reading her mind like she used to when she first found out what he could do. She wanted to be open with him. He paid her more than enough at the cafe. The truth was, she didn't know what to do with the money. She didn't even know how to contact someone about an apartment. She had always lived with someone, first Raven and then the Ark. She'd never had to pay rent herself. It was a whole new concept.

She had been saving the money up, putting it in a jar that she hid in the woods. Maybe not the safest place but she was pretty sneaky about hiding places and had made sure to put it somewhere only something as small as she was could get to it cause she knew there were far more big Were's in this town than small. Finally he seemed to settle for her answer, asking if he would see her at seven. She smiled and nodded, her eyes already gleaming with eagerness to see him again. "Seven." She repeated. Now she would need to figure out what time it was so she would know when to be there. Then he seemed to remember what they were doing, saying they should get some clothes on. She smirked, letting her finger trace slyly along his collarbone. "Should we?" She purred at him, batting her lashes. She smiled warmly as he pressed his lips to her forehead, content to watch him but then she got an idea, biting her lip as she reached out and snatched his clothes before he could grab them. Giggling, she jumped up and took off toward the woods.

"If you want your clothes, Sir Alexander, you're going to have to catch me!" She called back over her shoulder. Her steps were silent as the wind as she raced into the trees, glad for once of such a power. He wouldn't have hearing on his side this time and since it was dark, she blended in rather well.
