West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She still liked the affects of alcohol, but at the same time, it kinda sucked. She liked the buzz and the warm feeling since she was usually always cold but at the same time, it made her unsteady on her feet and she got sleepy way too quick for her liking. She played through those memories of that last time she saw Tetradore. He was smooth and charming, caring even when that guy in the crowd got too friendly. She had noticed the ways he looked at her sometimes when they made eye contact and she bit her lip when she thought about how her skin tingled when he reached out to grasp her chin. It was electrifying, but was it just the effects of the alcohol? Nadya had told her she needed to see how they were sober. She could be remembering that night all wrong. Maybe her vision was blurry from the drinks and she didn't really see what she thought she saw. But she was restless and now that she'd spoken to Nadya, she was even more impatient to see him again. She had so many questions.

Plus he'd totally embarassed her that night. He told her to cheer as loud as she could to make her car win and like the gullible drunk she was, she cheered at the very top of her lungs. She had other Were's turning to look back at her in irritation and even disgust but she only yelled at them before going back to cheering on her car. It had to win, it just had to! And it did, too. She had been convinced her cheering was what did it, until she saw that look of pure amusement in Tetradore's eyes. Then she knew he'd only said it to see if she would do it. She had punched him playfully, barely skinning his arm before she collapsed against him. Then she had giggled so much she snorted, whispering "We won, you jerk..." right before she passed out right there. She didn't know if he'd caught her or if she'd fell to the ground but either way, she'd woken up in a hotel room the next day with a pounding headache. There was water and some pills by the bed which she gladly took, reminded of the time Henry told her to take them to help with her hangover. She had declined his offer then, but right about now, anything had to be better than this.

She drank all the water and looked around the room, only to find she was alone. When she'd checked at the front desk, the lady just told her a man had gotten the room. She could only imagine it was Tetradore who had brought her here and put her to bed. The idea seemed kind of sweet, making her smile, but she was so confused right now with Nadya's words in her head. So a good friend but not the relationship type. A caring guy but he didn't want his sister to be happy with someone because they were another alpha. A loving brother but he didn't support his sister when her children were at risk. None of it added up. She needed real answers. And now that she'd recovered from her night and gotten some fresh food in her stomach, it was time to get them. Nadya had mentioned a big boat with his pack so she had asked around, only to find out the Nightshade pack ran the west and they were based in a big ship called the Ark. That had to be the place. She marched right over the territory line, slipping onto the ship in coyote form. She blended in well. There were a ton of other Were's in their animal forms in here tonight, and she could smell more than just one pack so it helped her blend. Apparently this was a meeting place of sorts.

She swept the area, squeezing around legs and sticking to corners, trying to find some high ground. As she got closer to the center of the crowd, she could head an announcer calling out the next fight and she froze. She knew that snarl. It was Tetradore, it had to be. She moved closer, only to find an arena at the center of everything and a big elk stag snorting and pawing at one end, with the familiar panther stationed at the other. She scowled, moving to the edge of the arena but the longer she looked at Tetradore, the more she realized that she couldn't wait. She was too impatient for this. Before she knew what she was doing, she leaped right into the ring, slipping under the ropes and standing between the panther and stag. "Tetradore, I need to speak to you. NOW." Her glowing blue eyes bore down on him, her tail twitching behind her. She heard a snort behind her. "Hey, get out of the ring, pup. This isn't your fight. Wait your turn!" The stag called out.

She rounded on him. "Get out of the ring. He's not fighting right now." The stag laughed and instead of listening, he charged. Snarling and high on adrenaline and overwhelming feelings, she disappeared from the spot in the middle of the arena, appearing one second later on the stag's back. Before he had a chance to react, she grasped one of his antlers in her teeth, jerking her whole body down, twisting his head to the side and throwing him off balance. He cried out in surprise as he hit the mat on his shoulder, sliding to a stop a few feet from the panther. Right before he hit the ground, she disappeared, only to reappear at Tetradore's side, her eyes blazing. "Now."
