West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

despite the weather it gets better, you won't do this alone

The Hunter has been doing just what he was created for: hunting. Tracking several little creatures all at once, simply so he could have an idea where to find them later. James having hardly done any hunting while in the city, was bored, he couldn't quite push his nephew into meeting with him yet, Lazarus entirely stubborn in his ways, while Lisé wanted nothing more to do than drink. The man enjoying a drink himself at least once a day, yet, that vile woman was always drinking. From the moment she woke up until the moment she went to bed, entirely hammered. He was lucky enough that she hadn't deigned anyone worthy of bringing home to slip beneath those sheets.

The heavy footsteps behind him hardly register in James's mind as he continues his little stroll down the sidewalk, Lisé's drunken scent wrapping around his senses almost immediately. Sighing, he doesn't turn even when she's practically shouting at his back, the man entirely used to her sudden mood swings now. He pauses then, turning those dead eyes to the infuriating woman, "The last time I checked, I needn't owe you any explan-," he's suddenly cut off by the way her fist connects with his jawline, surprise registering briefly in those impassive eyes as he's taken down by the vampire, the two falling into a heap on the ground. Truly, he doesn't know how to react, not at first, his hand rubbing at his chin in utter shock, the man's usual demeanor replaced with... surprise.

It had been a long time that anyone had taken him off guard, especially Lisé, the woman hardly ever daring to hit him. The moment her words grate across his ears, James drop his hand, that gaze turning on the woman, seething and filled with as much anger and disgust one could muster, realization of what just happened. "You dare to touch me?" He breathes, his voice strangely calm though that rage tinges every syllable, "You are nothing but a lowly creature. You should not even exist within this realm," He seethes, finally pushing himself to a standing position, vaguely registering the dull ache in his hand. "You disgust me, I should have killed you when I had the chance," He states down at her, those narrowed eyes taking in her drunken state, barely registering the way her lifeless chest raises and falls in ragged breaths.

"Need I remind you that whatever you feel regarding distance, my body doesn't register it. I only feel your physical pain," he growls at her, that anger unable to cool itself, briefly wondering why he was even giving her an explanation. He wants to draw on that power of his, use it, bring out her darkest fear until she's whimpering on the sidewalk, tears streaming down her face and yet, he restrained himself just barely. James doesn't register the footsteps behind him, his ears roaring with that hatred as he curls his lip in disgust at the woman still lying in a heap on the ground, her words managing to snap him out of it enough to turn around to regard the white haired man who had joined their company. Yet, he's unable to pull that mask over his features, Lisé successfully doing a number on him, bringing out his worst possible side. And truly, he was a rather frightening sight to see, those eyes practically blazing with rage.

Those first words that fall from the newcomer's lips has James furrowing his brows, his forehead creased in distaste as those Hunter's sense register the man for what he was: a were. Great, just what he needed. "Who the bloody hell are you?" He snaps, his anger stopping him low enough to use those curse words he rather despised, finding that they were hardly classy in any sense and yet, he can't help it. Those raging eyes dart back to Lisé for the briefest of moments before the stranger's words dance in the air again, "There is no conversation to be had," James responds, those deep tenors holding a threatening note before he simply turns his back on the stranger, glowering down at Lisé once more. "Unless you are planning to walk home, I suggest you get up," James says coolly, still unable to contain that seething anger.
