West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

the blood to save you

He could see the sobs racking her body even as he made impressive strides up the sidewalk to the porch steps where she still laid as if she didn't have the strength to go any further. He hated that when he touched her, she flinched, as if expecting pain. The thought only made his eyes darken in mind of what he would do to those responsible once he got his hands on them. She seemed so defeated. He gently picked her up, desperate to bring some life back into those eyes because her body was so limp and lifeless that he dared to think she might turn to ash at any moment. She only seemed to cry more as he carried her into the house. "Sshh it's all going to be okay, Yumi. You're safe now. They won't get to you." He tried to assure her even as he placed her on the bed.

He went to get the bath ready and when he came back, he was surprised to find her standing shakily and clutching a piece of paper to her chest. He reached for it gently. He could tell it meant a lot to her that he look at it so he did and his breath caught in his throat. It was obviously a rough map of sorts, probably to where she was held at, and probably where Isolt was. He inhaled sharply and looked up at her, his eyes questioning. He didn't want to leave her alone, not after promising she would be safe. What if they came looking for her? He couldn't leave her so weak. He chewed on his lip, thoughtful for a moment before he stepped toward her slowly, aware that she was probably still hyper aware of any sudden movements. "You have to do something for me before I can trust myself to leave you." He could tell just by the sadness in her eyes that she wanted him to go, probably to save Isolt. It was just like her to think of others above herself.

He pulled his wrist to his lips and bit down, licking the copper from his lips before he held his wrist out to her. "Drink. You'll need your strength. Then I'll lock you in here and make sure no one can get to you till I get back. Deal?" He raised a brow, waiting for her agreement. He wasn't about to leave her with her looking half dead. She needed blood if she was going to keep herself safe. No matter how much he wanted to save Isolt, he couldn't bear the guilt of something happening to Yumi if he left her like this.
