West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Tobias was always excited whenever Tetradore said that they could go for a ride. Raven always smiled as she watched the boy get all amped up for the sheer joy that this was the activity they were going to do. There were times when she wished to go along. If they ever had to pile into the car together, Tobias always got to ride in the front. Raven never spoke of her displeasure when the front seat was taken by him nor did she ever voice out she wished to go. It was rare whenever she did get to go on a little car ride with Tetradore. At times she wanted to lower the window and simply feel the wind running through her golden-brown curly locks. It reminded her what it was like to run at a speed she could never achieve running on four legs. Even when the two of them were in the car together she never hinted at wanting to lower the window. It was a good thing that the two boys were out and about, because that left her plenty of time to prepare for the Easter festivities. As soon as they came home she couldn't help the young woman was all jittery, hardly able to contain her enthusiasm for what she had in store for them. Their silent shrugs didn't cause her to be dismayed. After being around them for years their silent expressions or wordless response didn't ruin her delight. It would have rattled her if they both responded with the same gusto she had.

Leading them into the kitchen she cheerfully, heard head would turn slightly, just to make sure that both of them were following her. It wouldn't be fun if only one of them followed and participated in her activities. Raven rarely asked them for anything. Entering the kitchen she happily gestured to the island, covered with that blue tarp, where all the egg dying supplied laid. It wasn't surprising to see that her mate was a bit wary about the colored water. It would seem those showers they took together didn't help ease some of that anxiety he had with the harmless liquid. Quietly she handed a hard-boiled egg to both of them. Grabbing an egg for herself she showed the two how to properly dye the egg. The process was quite simple and easy. It didn't cross her mind that Tetradore would know what to do. The man hardly talked to her about his family life, and he never questioned to do this activity when this particular holiday arrived. Now that they both knew how to do it, she grabbed a white crayon, attempting to draw on the egg, and then gently placing into the mug that contained the purple dye. The question of whether or not the eggs could be eaten prompt the woman to raise her head, responding gently.

"Well, we can eat them later, but not right now. I'll make deviled eggs with them."

There were times when she made those delicious deviled eggs for supper. It was a piece of food she was surprised Tobias would even eat it. It would be simple to do. Although if she wanted them to eat it for supper tonight, she would have to ask the cooking staff for a bit of assistance. Easter was a bit like Christmas and Thanksgiving, the lupine knew she had to make a delicious feast! Luckily in the other part of the kitchen the staff was kind enough to watch over the food she had created, getting everything prepared later this evening for their meal. Blue-grey eyes looked up from her egg that was submerged in that purple dye. A faint small smile could be seen as she watched her Alpha focus intently on his own egg, ensuring the color soaked on the egg. Returning back to her own egg, she used her egg tongs to gently prod the egg around, to ensure the color was coated evenly. It was the swift movement she saw, out of the corner of her eye that made her head tilt upwards swiftly. Her eyes would widen in shock, her jaw dropping a bit, too shocked to even speak! Tobias had shoved his shiny red egg into his mouth. Before she could utter a word, she heard a lower voice speak his name, noticing that feline growl. Going still she watched the two men, feeling a bit of tension, naturally she felt apprehensive. Her Alpha was demanding one of his members to comply, and one of those members just happened to be her mate. Raven didn't want the either one to be harmed. Sighing softly as Tobias spat out the egg, she returned to her own egg. Speaking softly, her eyes shifted towards her Alpha, and then over to Tobias.

"Thank you Tetra, and Tobi don't put the stickers on the egg until it is dry. The stickers don't work if they are wet."

Seeing that the egg had been submerged long enough in the dye, Raven grabbed her egg tong, and grabbed the egg out from the watery depths. Placing the egg slowly onto the egg stand she grabbed another few eggs, setting them into the pink, yellow, and orange. Grabbing another egg to draw on she looked over to the green-eyed man as he inquired just where the glitter was. There was a reason why she didn't place the glitter on the countertop. For starters glitter was messy and it was extremely difficult to get rid of. The other reason was that if Tobias had the glitter, then all chances of having a clean kitchen would be destroyed. For a moment Raven stared at him, pondering whether or not it was worth giving him a little white lie. He wouldn't be that upset with her, would he? Oh, but lying to him was wrong...extremely wrong. Her conscious wouldn't allow her. Nope, it simply wouldn't. Her shoulders would slack slightly as she nodded, calmly answering his question.

"Oh, um, yes...there is glitter. I wasn't sure if you two would want them, it being a girly thing and all."

Well, she wasn't lying. Glitter was indeed a girly thing. Still drawing on her egg, she used her telekinesis to pull the little bags of glitter out from the drawer and placing them beside him. That question about glitter made Raven rethink on whether or not Tetradore had done something like this before. That he knew about the glitter implied that he did. Tetradore never questioned her about her past and Raven respectfully kept herself from inquiring about his own. Although asking about dying Easter eggs wasn't something that would upset it, and it was hardly intrusive, right? Gently she stated her question, allowing him to answer if he wanted to or not.

"Dying eggs, was it something your family did?"

Seeing her mate struggle with his new eggs he placed into the mugs, she happily walked towards his end of the counter, assured that her egg would be just find. Grabbing one of the egg tongs she gave the tool to her mate. She would take her hand over his, guiding the tool over to one of the mugs, opening the tong around the egg and then closing it, and lifting the egg out of the mug and moving it over the egg stand. All the while instructing him, and assuring him, this was perfectly safe.

"Tobi, here you hold the tongs like this and you close in, to grab the egg out of the water. The water won't get you, I promise."
