West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

He had hardly anticipated that near baffled look Kat rewarded him with at the query on whether or not this Viktor person was Kohl's Maker too. Azrael half expecting the pair of them to have simply found each other through a shared Maker and yet, Kat had evidently never actually asked it off her boyfriend. In that, at least, Azrael could hardly blame her. It was hardly taboo in any sense to talk about how someone was made and yet for most beings the night of their creation was often the worst of their lives and one they very rarely talked about- even if they were a couple. In this, at least, he was willing to forgive her. Much of his agitation, now, aimed toward Viktor and the situation at large rather then kat herself even if a part of him was assured she had kept these secrets too long and allowed them worsen far beyond her control. Still- there would be time to yell at her about that later. Azrael assured there was a multitude of things he desired to yell at later. Right now there was more pressing issues to be attended too. Like finding this Viktor fellow- and Kohl too, he supposed. Even if he was mostly assured the loss of the man was hardly any great blow to the Hunter organisation. Kat in the least seemed to care for her pretty-boy boyfriend. Finding Viktor however, was going to a more difficult task then he had anticipated. He barely knew the name let alone anything about him. If he had survived for this long, doing as Kat said he had then the man deserved some credit for his skills. For now, he supposed, they might as well find Kohl.

The blonde-haired Hunter had very near forgotten about their fallen comrade in the wake of that new information, Kat's sudden reminder seeing him pause and yet Azrael had little intention of letting the man live. He had served his purpose and allowing him to survive would allow Viktor to find them that much faster. After all, this fellow would only report back what he had learned today, Azrael's own name thrown into the mix and further jeopardizing his own safety along with the rest of the Council. No, it was better if he was done away with. Azrael at least kind enough to afford him that quick death, that affinity bringing an end to him near instantly as he crumpled forward onto the pavement. His own golden eyes cut briefly toward Kat, his fellow Hunter offering only understanding in that moment. Azrael for once, prompted to merely offer that nod of silent agreement before simply suggesting they leave that body. He hardly suspected this Hunter was alone. Someone else would be nearby- they would find him soon enough. One way or another he fully suspected Viktor would find out and yet such considerations would have to wait for another day.

He gestured easily for Kat to lead the way to her boyfriend's home, even if his own sources had confirmed Kohl was hardly lying dead in his living room it hardly hurt, he supposed, to check up on the man or see what else they could find out. His own thoughts were directed inward for several moments longer, that agitation still clear on his features, the Hunter almost unable to stop that barb he tossed at Kat all the same. Azrael chastising her readily for how careless she had been in this, the man simply needing someone to blame. That insistence that she hardly knew he was a threat to the council managed to earn her a dubious look and yet, he supposed, given the nature of the man they were dealing with he seemed decidedly hard to predict. How deep did this corruption go? Azrael's head shaking slightly as they headed further down the sidewalk.

"You said he sent you and Kohl photos? You didn't think to ask the Council for help then? You should have come to us before any of this could happen."

Maybe he and Kat had never exactly seen eye to eye and maybe they didn't really get on but she was still a Hunter, she was still his co-worker and for all his poor temperament and sharp words Azrael was nothing if not loyal to his own species and those he saw as being on his side, so to speak. For all he was he would hardly allow any harm to come to the woman. To know that someone had threatened one of his own was irritating. They arrived outside that towering apartment building soon enough, Azrael affording those introductions between Kat and Michael before the other man offered him that update and insistence Kohl hadn't let in a hurry or been taken. That Kohl hadn't been kidnapped, in the least, was something worth celebrating. Kat, for her part, seemed to be thinking of something else, the womans face almost pale before his words seemed to distract her as she nodded that insistence she was coming. Azrael mounted those stairs and begun that climb up to that penhose suit with that single instruction to Micheal to stay downstairs and keep a lookout in case they had been followed. Azrael reached out to press on that door as is fell open. His eyes widening slightly at the, well, opulence of the place.

"Jesus Christ, It's so bloody.....clean and....is the floor marble?"

One eye lifted slightly as he turned back to face Kat, his gaze pulling away from the woman to wander around that spacious apartment with its leather couches and marble floors and benches. This was one of the nicer homes he'd ever been in. No wonder Kat liked staying here. Still, he supposed, he was hardly here to praise Kohl's choice of interiors. Azrael pressing further into that room then. That house was clean and yet he suspected it was clean because no one was living here- at least not at the moment. Everything set up and packed away like the owner had gone on a holiday. Hell, maybe Kohl had. The lights in the kitchen suddenly coming on, followed by those lights in the living room and what he could only presume was the study. Azrael frowning for several moments.

"Timers."

He muttered at last. Those lights set to come on at certain times. Did they always do that or had Kohl set it up to make it look like he was home in the evenings. Azrael almost suspected it was the later. Hmm. That was....mildly impressive.

"Your boyfriend, I think, has been trying to make it look like he's here when he's not. If any of Viktor's people are watching this place then chances are they have been watching nothing but automatic lights for a few days. That's almost...intelligent."

Almost. He could hardly bring himself to actually offer that other man any real praise. Still, it was...close. The blonde Hunter pressed further into that room then, turning into the study to eye that equally meticulous room as Kat queried what they were looking for.

"If you want us to find your boyfriend we need to know where he went. We can get some idea of that by what he took with him. What normally sits there?"

His hand lifted to point to the desk that normally held Kohl's laptop along with those plans of whatever weapon the man was working on, Azrel gesturing to the rest of that house then.

"I'll leave checking the bedroom to you, you'd know better then I would what clothes he took or didn't take. Look for anything that's missing. Does he have another house anywhere? Friends he might stay with? Does he have a travel agent he uses? He might not even be in the country. It looks to me like he's trying to hide from someone...."
