West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He seemed amused by the fact that she would be barefoot. Sure, the sidewalk got a little hot during the day sometimes and then she would allow herself to wear the flimsy contraptions Nadya called flip flops which seemed to suit them by the weird noise they made when she walked and other times she chose to wear flat shoes like Converses and stuff that Miyako had turned her onto but barefoot was by far her favorite choice of shoes. At least she could tip toe a lot better like this. She still tended to get unsteady on her feet sometimes when she wore shoes. She could tell the minute he got all tense about the simple question of what he'd been up to. She certainly didn't mind sharing but then she wasn't the dark brooding end of this conversation. It was going to be a lot harder to get him to give anything up but he had to give her at least an inch, right? A millimeter, something. She had been watching some tv which really was about the best she had for a teacher since she couldn't bother herself to sit still long enough to read or anything.

She still resented that people like Miyako could go to places like college and learn stuff but at least the tv could be entertaining when she found the right shows to watch. Things blowing up and people and animals fighting were always her favorites. When they got to a lot of talking, she usually found something else or got up and left the house. He seemed almost surprised that she even knew of France, though he was quick to tell her that they didn't speak gibberish, comparing it to dogs and and cats talking. She snorted. "But only the dumb ones that aren't Were's and don't know how to actually talk. Like technically you're like a cat and I'm like a dog and yet here, we are, holding a conversation. But bring a French person over here and I'd much rather try to hold a conversation with a house cat any day." She smirked. "Right before I try to eat it." Her eyes twinkled teasingly. She did get intrigued when he mentioned that not all of Italy was cities and buildings though.

When he mentioned forests and rolling hills, her brow quirked and her eyes widened. She smiled and nudged his shoulder with her own. "Then maybe you'll have to give me the tour some day when you're not playing Mr. Were King God of all Ark animals." She grinned. He mentioned he had family there and she gasped. "Wait, you're French?! Hold the front door! Speak something in gibberish and don't make it up either. I'll know if you're faking it." She furrowed her brows and crossed her arms, playing it serious as she eyed him. But then the subject shifted to Raven and a male called Tobias so she let her arms relax and glanced over as he nodded to confirm that Tobias was the scent on Raven. He said he was a leopard and she scowled thoughtfully, thinking to the Animal Planet shows she'd gotten to watch a few times. "So a panther like you but with spots, right?" He then asked after what she'd been up to so she decided she might as well share. She had plenty to say, after all.

She told him about everything from her new explosive power getting away from her to her new friends Ashton and Abigail to hanging out with Henry, of course, and mentioning the dinner Frost had talked about. She hoped it wouldn't be a big issue. She did note the way his brows furrowed ever so slightly and she had to fight the urge to nibble on her lip or blush at the thought that maybe he'd caught on a little too much to how her and Henry had been spending their time. After all, the last time had ended up with them on the Ark of all places and while she was sure at the time Tetradore must have been out or busy watching the fights in the arena, there was no way to know if he might not have ventured to his own room at some point and heard something. They had keen ears, after all, and she wasn't exactly quiet. But she refused to let on anything, jumping into other stuff like the dinner thing and gauging his reaction.

She could see him mulling it over, watching his teeth run over his lip before he finally said that he hoped they had a good dinner. She could only assume that was the closest thing she'd get to a blessing. He said that she sounded busy and she snorted. "Like you, right? I know you're up to super secret things and being all shady. I get bored so I find ways to spend my time. Like kidnapping you to steal paintings and stuff." She smirked teasingly. Then he asked if she was planning on introducing Ashton to the pack and she shrugged. "Maybe. If he shows an interest. I think he only just got to town so I'm basically showing him where I have fun and then we go where he wants to go." She wondered if maybe he was reading a bit too much into it, like asking if she was bringing him to dinner with the parents or something like she saw in couples movies. They had only just met. Sure, he was great on the eyes and had manners and a personality to boot but she wasn't jumping into anything head first.

He watched her for what felt like a really long time, all without saying a single word. It was almost awkward. She couldn't begin to wonder what he was thinking but seemingly, it was a lot. There was so much emotion behind those emerald eyes. She wished she could get him to open up to her like Henry did but she knew that would be a much harder task with Tetradore. He was such a complex character. It reminded her of Shrek the cartoon, of how they compared him to an onion with layers. Tetradore had a lot of layers and it would take more than just any knife to cut those away, even just the outer ones that he bothered to show to the world. He tossed the blanket over his shoulder before giving in, if only a little. He told her about a wolf named Mira who was apparently fiesty. She smirked. "Maybe I should meet this Mira some time. She sounds like fun." Then he mentioned a car show and she tilted her head, scrunching up her nose.

"So...like they show off the cars before they race them? And do they battle in the armored cars to show off how tough they are? That would be really cool." She smirked. Sure, it wasn't him laying everything out that was bothering him but it was something and she would take it. She glanced around them. The landscape was changing. It was less dark and boding and more lighted and...cleaner, in a way. They must be getting closer. She glanced over at him. "What do you think these people do for fun? Do they hide away in their fancy houses all day or do they get out and do stuff like us? Party and run in the woods and occasionally steal stuff?"
