West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The youthful witch could hardly deny that glimpse of surprise upon her fair features at that date she was given. The 1400's? That made him....well...vintage. "Huh..." She muttered in response, more to herself than him. She watched with a raised brow as Gideon justified that very murder he had been set out to do. It was sweet, really, the way he tried to paint himself as one of those Robin Hood type of characters, doing a dastardly crime in order to promote some overarching good in the world. Fortunately, Serafina cared little if the Emperor was making a slave out of his people or was regarded as the best ruler ever - it hardly mattered to her. It was like..forever ago. She watched as he kicked a rock with the boot of his shoe, looking every bit the petulant boy as that tale came to an abrupt and unfortunate end. "Well, that sucks." The girl retorted, willing to commiserate over the vague details of that execution. "I guess...it all kinda worked out though. I mean, look your execution granted you immortal life...though that might suck too." The young witch puzzled over it for a moment before a shrug crossed her shoulders.

"Besides, you're not completely dead in the water." She continued lightly pushing at Gideon's shoulder in an almost comradely fashion. "I mean, we still have the Queen of England and then there was that Fae King in Italy that was all over the news like...everywhere a few months ago. I mean, there's a shit ton of Arab countries that still have a Monarchy. I bet they're all assholes. I mean, if you still wanted to do it for the better man of humankind or...whatever. " It was, however, interesting that it was his greed that had been his downfall. Personally, she felt if you had a particular set of skills, you might as well use them for what they were meant for. It he was good at killing, what did greed have to do with that? Although....maybe he wasn't that good at the assassin business if he got caught in the first place. Well, it was something to dwell on anyways. "Whatever happened to your emperor? The one you fucked up on? Did you get a second chance at it?" She inquired suddenly, even though the pair had arrived at that very warehouse they had set out for. For all his cockiness, even Serafina had to admit he was....interesting.

She paused at the front of her warehouse, those keys fished out, jingling against one another as she put her key into the lock. It only took a moment to grant them both access to that space filled with those shelving units. She gestured briefly for Gideon to follow her as she moved down that row of nondescript boxes. There was little identifying one from another other than the permanent marker script of Serafina's own handwriting with vague descriptions that surely made sense to the witch alone. The box she paused in front of was labeled with the words 'Cursed Heart Bird', the contents of it clearly meant something to Serafina, even as she turned towards Gideon to solicit his assistance. Serafina could hardly help that quizzical look of bafflement upon her features as Gideon began to pull those chains out, carefully working to keep the sides of the box in place for the trip back to her store. "And here I thought I was going to have to tell you to be careful." She uttered, her eyebrows raised as her hand settled on her hip. She watched as he hefted the crate upwards, and over his shoulder, carrying it with surprising ease. That almost witty comment prompted a sly simper to her features as the girl shook her head ever so slightly. "So it does. Well, come on, my shop is two blocks that-away...think you can handle it for that long?" She inquired, pointing eastward as she led the way back out of that warehouse. This was becoming a far easier task than she had originally thought it would be.
