West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Anna-Marie Belrose

Anna-Marie was like Tobias in many ways. The lights bothered her, threatening to send her over the edge of perhaps a seizure, and detested the bodies that pressed in close nearly grazing her as they moved before she flicked them away, and the music which assaulted her ears likes knives. Their minds were forever trapped in some sense at the same child's level, but Anna's had progressed in many areas through the centuries while Tobias still floundered to get by with daily tasks demanded by society. She was just about to flick away another intruder upon her personal space when Tobias came upon her. The brief change in tone of the music allowed her to catch the feline's predatory snarl as he lunged for the package she carried rather than herself. The preemptive alert is what probably saved her small frame from being knocked down completely under the pure muscle of the feline. Instead she was able to slide a foot off to the side, twisting her body so he merely knocked her back as he ripped the package from her hand.

Anna's icy blue eyes narrowed as she was however shoved forcefully backward into the nearest patron. She rounded on the woman with an animalistic growl of her own, not even bothering with her power this time and simply using her own vampiric strength to shove the woman aside. There was no way in hell that Anna-Marie would allow a cat to disrespect her, grabbing things from her and taking off without even asking if such a thing was his. She followed his trail though at a much leisurely pace, still receiving a displeased look from the bartender that he had given Tobias. The leopards scent was easy enough to follow, fresh as it was, leading the way through the shadowy back of the bar and up to the rooftop. The sudden rush of crisp night air caused Anna to pause once she emerged onto the rooftop, taking great pleasure as it washed away the stink and sound of the bar thumping away in the building beneath her feet. Her attention returned to the present, fixating on the back of the leopard gorging himself on the present she had been asked to pass along. Anna was very certain that he was the one who it was meant for, the young girl who had given it to her had assured her that the recipient would find her and described him as...eccentric. Still, he had no right to behave as he did without punishment. How else was he going to learn?

Anna's fingers twitched, taking a moment of time to search out and weave through his very essence. On the fly she could manipulate a person in quick bursts such as shoving, but more intricate things required a moment to latch on to them entirely. She curled her fingers into a come hither motion, slowly curling into a fist in order to drag his feline form backwards away from the food. "You've been a very naughty kitty." Anna spoke slowly, her words drawn out slightly as her mouth worked around her fangs. She walked up to Tobias once he was a decent distance from his "prize", her small fingers gliding through his soft fur, "Such a pretty kitty though." Anna turned about to face Tobias, barely glancing down at the shredded bag and its sprawled contents of meat at her feet. "You should behave. Be a good kitty. I brought you a present from another kitty...a girl kitty. Do you want me to tell her how you were naughty and then she'll never bring you food again?" Anna flicked her hand open to shove Tobias' frame a couple feet back before releasing him from her hold. The distance she created between the two of them was enough she knew she'd be able to shove him back again in a quick manip.
