West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

Azrael was altogether....reluctant to release his girlfriend when the taste of her lips were so decidedly appealing and that desire for simple closeness tugged so readily at him. Yet, here and now, in front of some other Witch from god knows where he saw little need to provide her any ammunition against them- as if their relationship was not ammunition enough already. He had kept the Council in the dark for well over a year now when it came to Serafina and his own relationship. He so hardly needed this out of control wind-wielding witch informing them off his....indiscretions. Dealing with her was rather critical. That impending shift change making it all the more so. Azrael content to engage his own favoured affinity and disappear from before the pair only to reappear against the railing off the dock. That gesture alone so surely insisting that this was Serafina's problem to deal with. After all, wasn't a witch the best one to deal with a witch? Azrael rather assured his method of dealing with her would be less appealing to all involved.

Sera, in the least, was quick to deal with that fucking awful wind. Her efforts to calm the other witch so apparently prompting the wind to quieten down too. Azrael momentarily thankful he not longer had to deal with that irritating blustering and yet his golden gaze narrowed slightly all the same. The Hunter speaking up if only to insist Serafina was, under no circumstances, to bring this other witch home with them. If she fed it the damn girl would probably never leave. That was the thing with strays. Azrael mostly assured this young witch was exactly that. A stray. A runaway. After all, if she had a family it was unlikely they would let her powers get that out of control. Either they'd kicked her out for being a witch, she'd run away, or her powers were so new she hadn't gotten the chance to get a handle on them at all. Still, she hardly seemed afraid of those abilities as most new witches seemed inclined to be. That alone so assuring his thoughts persisted more towards the belief she was simply a runner from whatever her life had been before. Still, why did she have to run into his territory? Fucking typical. Serafina's insistence she was hardly going to bring the woman home, followed by the other witches simple desire not to be taken home prompted little more than a grunt from the tall Hunter in response. Good. They hardly needed some witch with an inability to control her affinity loose in their home. The younger woman's admittance of that very lack of control only further prompting that scowl on his own features before Sera saw fit to declare that it sucked for her. Azrael, this time, unable to prevent that snort of amusement. How he enjoyed that very fire that made Sera so very....Sera. His girlfriends abrupt declaration off her opinion distinctly satisfying to him in turn. Hmm, she was sexy when she was firey.

His own thoughts shifted readily away from the two women and towards those far more appealing considerations of how he could be spending his morning. At least until Serafina so suddenly commanded the ocean to still like bloody Poseidon. Still,he supposed, it had been...necessary in this case. Azrael willing to let that show of power slide before Sera turned to make her way back toward him. His own head nodded in simple agreement that they were done here- and just in time too. The Dark Hunter paused only once more to ask Sera exactly why she was out here at this time of morning to begin with only for the other witch to suddenly insist that Serafina should be her mentor. Sera? A Mentor? One eye arched clearly upward at that very suggestion. Azrael's very expression surely giving away how decidedly dubious he found that idea. The last thing he damn well needed was his girlfriend teaching some other witch how to become even more powerful. Bold little thing though she was. Serafina, thankfully, was content to insist she had no talent for air manipulation. The other witch answering his earlier query on why she was out so early in the morning with that insistence she was clearing her head. Azrael snorting softly in response.

"Getting up at the crack of fucking dawn to stand on a dock isn't 'witching' believe me, this one needs four alarms to get herself out of bed. Standing on the dock throwing your affinity around for everyone to see is just being a damn fool. Are you new to that too?"

His head nodded briefly towards her then at that insistence getting up early hardly seemed to be a 'witch' trait. Thank the damn heavens. Someone, it seemed, was rapidly beginning to get irritable all over again with how long this was taking. Azrael uninclined to have to explain himself to one off his own subordinates if the man happened to arrive even a minute early for his shift. The Hunter instead insisting that car was close before querying on just where the wind-wielding witch lived. It would be easier, at this point, to drop her home rather then leave her to wander around the streets when she obviously had no talent for living. The sooner they were out of here the better. Besides- if he took her home she had little chance to meet another Hunter and tell him or her what she had seen between Serafina and himself. Azrael's sudden 'kindness' in seeking to give the woman that ride him perhaps equally as self-serving. At least she was going to same way as them. Azrael hardly anticipated that sudden query on why he had allowed the younger witch that chance to survive all the same. That surprise surely clear on his own features then before that very look quickly shifted into...frustration. Azrael sighing softly, one hand running through his hair in in some absent minded expression before Sera insisted they walk and talk all at once. The man falling easily into step beside his girlfriend then with that gesture for the other witch to follow. Why had he let her live?

"Your so damn young, that's why."

To young to die. He hardly offered those words and yet tat unspoken truth of it surely lingered all the same. Azrael so eternally having struggled when it came to young supernaturals. Especially women. As if some part of him still believed they might somehow....grow up to be different. Damn stupid as the thought was. Azrael, perhaps, a decidedly more conflicted individual then he so appeared. The Hunter walking more determinedly ahead then as if seeking to prevent any further conversation on the topic as he led the way towards that gleaming Aston Martin parked safely on a side street. That passenger side door was easily opened for Serafina, his hand gesturing to that back seat for the other witch to climb in before that car roared into life. Azrael effortlessly turning that heater on then before angling that warm air towards Sera in turn.

"I need to make one stop first."

Azrael easily guided that car away from the curb then, the hunter smoothly shifting gears as he pulled onto the man street before piloting the car back towards the docks. His gaze briefly lifting to that rear-view mirror to eye the witch seated within the back seat.

"What did you say your name was?"

That car travelled further down that dock then and towards the towering form of the Ark. Those last few stragglers stumbling out of the infamous Fight Ring to drunkenly make their way home now that the business was finally closing for the day. Azrael reached easily into the center console then, plucking several sheets of paper from within before pulling up beside the Ark, that car left idle as he insisted he would only be a moment before sliding out of the car and summoning Jackal- the little mexican man who guarded the door. That handful of papers abruptly thrust into the rather nervous little mans hands.

"Give those to Tetradore will you? That's one fine for destruction of public property, two for grand theft auto, one for reckless driving, one for life endangerment, one for nearly running down a Hunter and two Cavalry horses, one for speeding and two for driving cars that aren't legally roadworthy. If he has a problem he can talk to me about it."

The chance of Tetradore ever paying those fines, he knew, was decidedly slim and yet he'd be damned if he let the WereKing think he'd gotten away with that car theft all the same. Azrael content to grumble to himself as Jackal hurried inside and the hunter returned to the car. That Aston Martin headed for the main road now and back towards home. Azrael glancing briefly toward Sera then as that car paused at a stop light. The Hunter hardly concerned with Kathryn hearing those words all the same.

"You know what really ticks me off? Those fines I bloody well just gave Tetradore not only won't damn well get paid but I guarantee you they'll disappear from his record too. Someone, for years, has been deleting indescreations from his Council record. I don't fucking know how he's doing it."

It was...irritating to say the least. Azrael glancing briefly back to Kathryn once more to offer her at least some explanation to the younger woman then.

"Every time you fuck up and the Council finds out, depending on how major, the Council records it. Fuck up too many times and get considered a threat to society and we eliminate you."
