West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The racing of that car did little to settle the deviant boy even as they pulled further and further away from their pursuers and that hotel room. Tobias content to continue to turn and peer out of that rear window as if hear feared the rear-view mirror might somehow lie to him in a way his own two eyes would not. That very query on who that vampire was seemed to prompt that decidedly simple answer from Tetradore in turn and yet- Tobias so often required decidedly little when it came to that more specific information. The younger man seemingly content with this fraction of knowledge alone. After all, what did it matter? He knew all he needed with that assurance this man, this Darcy, was one of Risques. Even Tobias, with his inability to truly perceive time so seeming near taken aback by the speed at which the vampire had found them. His terribly cunning mind already seeming to turn over that information as if searching for something amongst the tangle that existed as his thoughts. Though whether or not he had so found what he searched for remained to be seen. That endless flat road stretching out before them for miles now. The car eating away at the darkness. The tension within Tobias' body so beginning to ease- only for a flicker in the darkness to draw his gaze. The lank younger man pivoting to peer through that window again only to spot a motorcycle.

That very cry of alarm on his lips seemed to jolt Tetradore from his own thoughts in turn. The emerald-eyed man slamming his foot further down on that accelerator and so demanding of that car to reach another speed entirely as Tobias reached down to search amongst the car, the deviant near frantic in his efforts before his fingers grasped that last remaining water bottle. Tobias' reached for that window then, his fingers guiding it smoothly down only to see the boy lean precariously outward and launch that very bottle directly at the body of the vampire. Darcy, to avoid that throw, forced to swerve near violently and, in turn, loose precious ground. Tetradore guiding that car further and further ahead as Tobias fell back into his own seat. Surely, if they could just keep.....going. The sudden, explosive roaring of that bike once more seemed to tear into that night air. Tobias glancing upward toward that mirror just in time to see that bike disappear to one side. That disbelief as clear upon his features as it surely was in those very words that fell from Tetradores lips in turn as the motorbike flew past them. Tobias, it seemed, entirely unaware that such speed existed in the world. Tetradore himself appearing equally baffled. That bike accelerating only further not only to overtake them but to race ahead.

Those very words of shock fell from the shaggy-haired boys lips in turn before that singular headlight so flared to life ahead of them. That motorbike with Darcy aboard so suddenly headed directly for them. Tobias' own dark eyes narrowed readily. That game of chicken one the boy was seemingly as willing to play as Tetradore himself even despite his own knowledge that neither of them was, likely, to survive any sort of crash. The boy near insisting Tetradore run that vampire down all the same. That car hardly hesitating beneath his companions hands as those two vehicles came closer and closer until- the very energy seemed to leave their own. Even Tobias capable of feeling that sudden lack of power as the car rapidly began to slow and all but roll along that desert highway until it came to a stop at the very feet of the vampire they were trying to outrun. Tetradore thrown a decided glare before Tobias so demanded to know what he was doing- only to be informed that Darcy, rather then Tetradore, was responsible for the slow of that car. The boys dark eyes narrowing readily on the vampire then, his lip pulling just so back from his teeth in clear disdain as the man strolled towards them. Tobias reaching to roll that window back up as if this, somehow, might afford them better protection. The lanky leopard very near bristling at that approach. Protecting his favoured companion, after all, had so forever been his job. One he was determined not to fail in.

That very conversation the vampire held as he leaned against the front of their car was all but ignored by the deviant, Tobias oblivious to most of those words in every sense save for the mention off his own name as he glanced upward but briefly. His eyes turned readily out to the dark expanse of that desert. The boy so seemingly content to consider merely fleeing into that darkness together and yet even he knew of the running speed of a vampire. Let alone that locked door. Tetradore's sudden utterance of his name readily saw his attention return to his brother, that command to take that armor power prompting own affinity to readily reach to silently embrace it as commanded before Darcy so arrived at that window. Tobias hardly oblivious to the fashion in which his favoured company so refused to meet the vampire's gaze directly. The lanky deviant, for all his incapabilities in life- decidedly observant when it came to that body language. Those words Darcy uttered once more all but lost on him and yet that tone was distinctly clear. Those commands given to Tetradore only further prompting that irritation and aggravation within him- let alone the vampires audacity to touch Tetradore. Tobias eyes remained distinctly narrowed, that glance Tetradore afforded him met with a subtle, near imperceptible nod of assurance that he had already seized that power. Another of his affinities already at work in an effort to pick apart that vampires mind and yet.....there was something....blocking that power. That hiss of frustration leaving his lips before Tetradore commanded he stop. That short, sharp, bark of laughter escaping Darcy then.

"Sure Tet, whatever ya say, mate. Yar really gunna let me bust up ya boys ribs eh? Alright then. Should I pull 'em out one at a time too? Yar a damned fool for bringing 'im wit ya but ya already know dat, don't ya?"

Another chuckle easily left the vampires lips then. Darcy turning away from that window to stand once more and lean back against the door of the car to what for those fucking felines to hurry up and get here with that other car already. Insolent sonofabitch Tetradore was. Always had been. Always damn would be as far as he was concerned. Why Risque kept this one he might never understand. How infuriating it was to be so....limited in just what punishment he might be allowed to dish out to Tetradore alone. Too much damage and Risque would punish him, and too little was so unsatisfying. Darcy very near having mastered pushing his boundaries to the very limit of what Risque would overlook even if he was never fully satisfied. Oh and how difficult it was becoming to contain himself! That very....aggression he felt towards the WerePanther only becoming more and more potent over the years- like a wound left to fester and spoil. One day.....she would see just how useless Tetradore really was and how readily he himself could give her everything she needed. He was close, he knew it, she had treated him so well lately- far better then the week before when she'd seemed so indifferent to him. So cold. A bad week. Yes. That's all it was. A bad week. Ignore it. She still loved him. He knew it. Tetradore words so suddenly interrupted his precious daydreams with that insistence he didn't have to come to that desert. The vampire's gaze slicing sideways and down towards him. That sarcasm lacing his words as thickly as poison then.

"An miss out on this chance ta spend time with ya? I dun think so. Ah, an 'ere comes to cavalry."

The arrival of that other car readily saw Darcy's attention divert. That window he had lowered easily rolled back up with a wave off his hand, just in case Tetradore had so been planning to climb out of it. Two of those other cats leapt easily from the car, the third remaining in his human form behind that steering wheel. Darcy issuing that command to stay where they were as he strolled easily around to Tobias' side of the car. Risque had less use for this one and yet- he was leverage against Tetradore. An upper hand she did not desire to lose even if he had pretended as much on the phone. After all, the more Tetradore believed his precious friend was in danger of death- the more compliant he was likely to be. Just what condition Tobias was left in however had hardly been specified to him. Risque sure to forgive him in turn if he accidentally.....broke the other Were a little. How he hoped Tetradore would give him a reason. His hand waved, that passenger side alone unlocked, that door swung open on command.

"Come 'ere."

That lanky creature hardly moved. Darcy fixed instead with a glare as defiant as Tetradore's own. Fucking children. He had no patience for this. That command repeated a second time. He would not ask a third. His jaw setting firmly as his teeth grated together and he strode suddenly forward with every intention of hauling that goddamn fool out of the car by his hair. Darcy failing to have anticipated how quickly that younger man could shift, his hand barely gracing the boys skin before that boy was replaced with a Leopard near mid-leap as it lunged at him. Leopard and vampire crashing onto the ground in the screaming, howling, hissing fit that echoed across that desert in a wild furore and cacophony of horrific sound. The scent of blood thickly permeating that air within seconds. That Leopard a ball of fury. Pain exploded in his own thigh, from teeth or claws he hardly knew, that near white hot burning sensation of claws raking his flesh only further fueling his own aggression as that blood tugged at hunger as much as it did rage and yet- the cats fur was.....like steel. His fist slammed heavily into the cats side and yet it was like slamming into rock. The blow all but glancing off the cat as he attempted to wrestle it from him, his legs at last drawn under the animal only to kick upward and render Tobias all but airborne as he was thrown violently to the side. Darcy unwilling to waste the opportunity to leap to his own feet. Tobias crashing into the ground only to roll onto his own and come at him second time. The vampire far more ready now.

The second lunge of the Leopard saw Darcy sidestep in that last moment, his hand diving out to snare the leopard by the scruff off his neck and all but slam him into the ground a second time. The vampire and Were struggling over one another a few moments more before that vampiric strength so eventually one out. Tobias pinned to that dirt now upon his side. Darcy's knees resting on his ribcage to hold him down, the vampires hand firmly gripping the cats neck and throat in that effort at restraint. This so hardly the first time he had dealt with Risques fucking felines in this very manner. His own breath coming more heavily. That final hiss spat from his own lips before his mismatched gaze lifted back towards that car. His own felines having surrounded it in an attempt to keep Tetradore from assisting his companion. That simper tugging at Darcy's lips now.

"I've changed me mind, Tetradore. I 'ave a new game."

His eyes slid slowly back to Tobias beneath him then, his hand tightening in the boys scruff to twist his head and force his gaze to meet his own. His own affinity readily activating then. Tobias near gasping within a matter of seconds as the leopard's body seemed to grow near ridged beneath him as that paralyses took over. That shield power that had protected him so well forced to turn off. Darcy easing backward then to shift from atop the cat and release his hold only to continue to crouch beside him. His hand reaching out then to almost lovingly stroke Tobias fur with his cold fingers, the boys body shuddering ever so slightly beneath him.

"Eh, I think he can feel that. Can you feel that, kitty kitty? Can ya feel dis?"

One hand slipped easily beneath Tobias' neck then, that Leopard lifted easily upward towards his mouth as Darcy's lips parted, those sizeable double fangs catching the moonlight in those seconds before the bit directly into the flesh above the boys shoulder. It lacked veins and yet his fangs were more then capable of creating wound large enough to coax that blood to run. Darcy hardly desiring food so much as he was simply....mauling for the pleasure of it. His lips closed over that wound all the same, the vampire eagerly feeding on that blood that seeped to the first- that near violent jolt of the leopards body assuring him the boy had felt those fangs. His eyes content to lift to Tetradores own for several seconds before abruptly dropping the paralysed Leopard once more. Darcy letting his tongue run over his lips and fangs to lick at what blood still clung to them. His own wounds, those gashes and painful bites, rapidly beginning to heal with the edition of that blood. How pleasing it was. How satisfying. It was hardly his favourite taste but he'd take it.

"Git in that other car, Tetradore- an I won't bite yar boy again. If ya wanna be slow about it, imma be slow 'bout lettin him bleed ta death. Better hurry or imma bite him again....an again.....an again until I either drain all his blood or it all bleeds outta him."
