West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I'm about to make my own way, heaven help me keep my faith

The silver blue eyed witch was destined to have control over the elements since the day she was born. It started with the coven she was born into, where primarily the females born into the family tended to harvest the powers, while it was a rarity for males to possess such a gift. It was a society where the oldest living grandmothers were the leaders of the coven, so similar to the orca society of the ocean, the coven looked to the eldest of the family, for they harbored so much knowledge for the next generation of witches to learn from. The next, were those bright silver blue eyes Kathryn had been gifted with. The moment those eyes had fluttered open when she had been born and her Gram had seen that bright silver blue hue staring back at her, she had instantly exclaimed they had been blessed with a gift. Then, it had been seen that Kathryn had sported a birth mark, the mark of the gemini, and then it was no doubt with the minds of the females in her family, that Kathryn would possess an affinity for magic and it would be revealed in the next few years.

Though, to their surprise, it had shown up in a matter of months.

When bright blue eyes had filled with tears, book started flying off the shelves, or leaves would whip around the yard without any outside breezes. This early, much earlier than her family had planned for. Perhaps that is what led to the trouble that they later faced down the road with Kathryn's uncontrollable powers as a young girl.

"You promised," she says, narrowing those silver blue eyes at the vampire. But then, those bright blue eyes gain something almost like humor to them. "I have a feeling you are going to need me later on. You are going to need a witch, and I have a feeling there aren't that many around," she challenges, unaware of any of Damon's relations with the magical community. "If you kill that man, consider this bridge burned," she says with a smile and those blue eyes almost twinkling with a challenge, despite her small, lithe body, Kathryn was like wind and fire...a bit uncontrollable and unpredictable.

But there would come a day when she would be as steady as earth and as flexible as water.
But today was not that day.

She watches him as he speaks, about 'us' and 'them.' She shook her head in disbelief at him, who would want her dead. Still, the history books and old tales are littered with people killing supernaturals in cold blood. The Salem Witch Trials immediately come to mind for the young witch and she internally shudders, but on the outside, she remains unfazed, she wouldn't let Damon get to her or change the way she viewed the world.

Kathryn wasn't sure what had happened to her memories, if it was a spell or if she had just been too little to remember when she did have powers. Either way, Kathryn wanted those memories backâ€" she just didn't want Damon to go digging around in her brain to get them. Even just thinking about it sent off alarm bells in Kathryn's mind.

He pushes her to do better. Kathryn feels frustration growing, she just found out she had magical powers, how was she supposed to know how far she could go? What if she hurt herself? No doubt that Damon wouldn't care about her well being. She tries to focus on the warlock, but honestly the way his face was contorted was a little unnerving and Kat eventually had to turn away, but still she kept up her focus, attempting to weaken the man enough so that Damon could gain access to his mind.

She hears a cry of distress and she dares to move those icy blue eyes back towards the man and she looks back and forth between Damon and the man, unsure what this process of manipulating someone's memories really entailed, but it didn't seem pleasant, that much was for certain. Kathryn keeps up her concentration, but she fears if her powers are too strong then she may potentially kill him. Panic sets input then the man's head suddenly rolls forward, he doesn't move. Kathryn halts her powers, of course fearing the worst, but still she doesn't touch the warlock, thinking perhaps it may be a trick. Damon leans back, stating it was done and Kathryn hesitates with her next questions. "Is he," she pauses. "I didn't kill him did I, Damon?" She asks, feeling her heart race, her glacial gaze having gone wide with concern.
