West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was a small part of her that was curious of this pack mate made of smoke and ash and...was that lava? She'd never seen such a thing before. It was great and wonderous and terrifying all at once but she had no idea who it could be. She knew it wasn't the usual suspects. She knew the pack scent of Tetradore, Tobias, and Raven enough to know it wasn't them for sure. That left the pack mates she didn't know as well, like Henry, Mira, and the tiger. Of course, her curiosity would have to wait cause she wasn't about to stand by and let any of her pack fall while she stood by and did nothing. She fired those arrows off, her lips curling in satisfaction when the man dropped the gun and she watched two wolves fal as well. The man shifted then and her eyes narrowed. So they were all wolves. Curious.

She watched and waited for another opportunity as the wolves moved in to attack her pack mate. One launched at the lava wolf only to get bit and it looked (and smelled) like his very flesh was burning. Alexis scrunched up her nose as she watched him roll in the sand and yelp, trying to stop the burning sensation. Another bit at the lava wolf's flanks and she scowled, aiming an arrow at him and letting it fly as the other wolves moved in and started to circle the lava wolf. The air around them was getting smoky, ash floating around them and Alexis scowled, not sure she could get a shot off without accidentally hitting her pack mate. She already had another three arrows notched and ready just in case she got a shot. That was when she heard the sudden yell in her mind, the pack bond connecting them as the lava wolf herself warned her to look behind her.

Alexis now knew the voice in her head to be female so her eyes narrowed on the lava wolf for a second before turning. It had to be Mira cause as far as she knew, the tiger couldn't speak. Or she chose not to or something. Alexis turned just in time to see one wolf about to launch at her and another two at least biding their time. She dove to the side as the wolf launched at where she just stood, letting the arrows fly and hitting the other two even as her bow disappeared and a dagger replaced it in her hand as she rolled to her back to see where the first wolf landed. It had already turned back to her, launching itself at her while she was down and vulnerable but it didn't see the knife in her hand. She wrapped an arm around its neck and threw herself to the side, even as she rammed the knife home into its chest. The wolf howled in pain but she twisted the handle, only letting the knife disappear as the wolf went still beside her.

She leapt back to her feet, dusting off as she looked around for more adversaries. One of the other two was still alive, whimpering as it tried to crawl away with an arrow in its back. Probably penetrated the spine. Scowling, she aimed another arrow and watched it hit home in the back of the wolf's skull, thankfully putting him out of his misery. She glanced around, wanting to make sure there were no more before she turned to see how Mira (?) was doing. She could hear the woman's words repeating in her head, urging her to run but she shook her head, even knowing Mira probably couldn't see from here. "No. We are pack and we take them down together." She sent the message back to her, her tone final. Even as she said the last words, she closed her eyes, concentrating, only to watch as a shimmering shield appeared around Mira's form. If any of the wolves tried to launch at her, it would push out, shoving them backward.

Alexis only smirked as she re-opened her eyes. Then she held up her hands, twin katana's appearing in them as she whistled long and loud, hoping to distract the wolves or turn at least some of them on her so Mira could find a break.
