West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West

That plan had come together rather well. Better then even Matteo had anticipated it might and yet it was, truly, thanks to his family has a whole that he had managed to see that idea for Aiden's birthday present come to fruition. Aiden had, of late, become ...withdrawn from the world. More so then he had ever truly been before. His youngest son had been distant within France, beyond taking those meals that matteo had near threatened to force feed him in the days following that dreadful night, Aiden had become almost despondent. The boy eating, his suspected, if only to please him, or in the very least, because it was a simple, mundane task that stopped that gnawing within his stomach and allowed him to return to that state of unfeeling. Aiden's improvement had been...slight and yet that pack within the West had needed its leader. Matteo reluctantly having allowed his son to return to the West. Tobias, of all people, having taken over that care of his beloved companion in a way even the Frenchman had not quote anticipated. That gangly deviant was devoted beyond all measure. His constant presence somehow seemingly comforting to Aiden in turn and yet his son remained withdrawn from the world. Aiden having retreated so far into himself Matteo had near feared the boy might never return. That, finally, he had been broken beyond all repair. The very pain of that possibility near akin to a knife within his own heart. Matteo so refusing to give up on Aiden in any sense. His son slowly, painfully slowly, having at least having started to respond to the world again- even if only in small ways.

Dorian, he knew, had taken Aiden's despondency with some measure of difficulty. His eldest son simply did not understand what his brother had been through. Those secrets not Matteo's own to share. The Frenchman instead simply continuing to insist that Aiden was busy, that there were problems with the pack, that work was causing him stress and that Dorian should hardly take his siblings lack of response to heart. An impossible feat. Dorian, after all, so much like himself (no matter how much he denied it) was inclined to feel those things deeply. His eldest son strikingly...sensitive and yet in a testament to his good nature, Dorian had eagerly thrown himself into those plans for Aiden's birthday all the same. Matteo hoping that this birthday and this present might be enough to fracture those defensive walls Aiden had built and, in the very least, allow his family within.

Securing that car had been no small feat. Matteo having been forced to use his contacts, both professional and otherwise, to hunt down the cars owner, arrange that meeting with him and so coax him into agreeing to sell that machine. Ah, but he could so hardly remember that last time he had bought something so expensive! Those millions of euros having been pooled together by each of them all the same. That cost, when spelt between himself, Alexander and Sebastian and Dorian having seemed at least a little less extravagant and yet, in the end, it would hardly have mattered had that previous owner demanded a hundred million euros. Matteo assured he might well have paid it if only for that chance of bringing joy to Aiden once more before the boy forgot the sensation entirely. While Matteo had surely found that car and its owner, Sebastian and Dorian had been instrumental in actually acquiring it. Their influence was decidedly substantial. His son-in-law had proven truly apt when it came to making those deals and working out those numbers, while Dorian's simple charm so had a habit of endearing the King to anyone and everyone. The pair of them, Matteo was assured, would have proven unstoppable as a sales team. His son and son-in-law having managed to do the impossible and convince the previous owner to sell that vehicle to them. All that remained so being that transportation to the city itself. In that area his own Father had simply excelled. Alexander, after so many years of storing and transporting so much of his own personal treasure, had proven nothing short of efficient in organising that transportation and shipping of that car to the city, along with its storage. Just where Alexander had kept that car for those several weeks prior to today even Matteo was hardly assured and yet, it had arrived, as Alexander promised it would. That Bugatti La Voiture Noire parked within the very center of that otherwise empty warehouse within the west.

Sebastian, in that very moment, so assisted Alexander in attempting to place that black ribbon and bow onto the car. Something to indicate that car was a gift and yet could easily be brushed off when Aiden, hopefully, desired a better look at that vehicle. Dorian, seated just to the side of his husband and grandfather, worked busily on that birthday card that he had added so many 'final touches' too the Frenchman was assured it might never be done. Matteo's silver gaze shifted from his eldest son and back to that car as Sebastian and Alexander stepped back in turn- the trio of men eyeing that machine before Matteo's head nodded in approval.

"Ah, but it is glorious! We are all aware of the plan, no? We will meet Aidun outside, he should be here soon, we will give him his gift and then we will go back to Alexander's cafe for dinner. Oui? How is the card coming, Dorian?"

Dorian insistence that he was still undecided on that final element so prompted that soft sigh from the near ancient Fae, Matteo so barely having turned towards his son when Sebastian moved to see to him instead. The Frenchman's gaze lingering upon the pair as his arms folded lightly across his chest, his figure shifting closer toward Alexander then as his eyes returned to the car. Those softly uttered accented words for the Hunter alone.

"I truly hope he will like it. I fear if this does not manage to delight him that I am beginning to run out of ideas. I cannot bear the thought of...."

Those very words were halted upon his tongue, as if he hardly dared to utter them. Alexander the sole being outside Aiden and himself whom knew just what had gone on that very night and how desperately close they had all come to losing that WerePanther in one way or another. That very battle still not wholly won. Dorian's sudden declaration that the card was finished and they all need sign it so readily saw but any look of concern removed from the Frenchmans features. Matteo nothing if not masterful in assuming that good-natured near teasing role he so often took as a pen summoned readily to his hand. Matteo adding his signature to that card before passing the pen to Alexander.

"Aidun will be here in a few moments, let us wait outside to greet him. Alexander you bring those ownership papers, Dorian you bring the card, Sebastian there is a bottle of whiskey on that bench over there to give him as well, you bring that- I have the car keys. Are we ready?"

Matteo waited only so long as it took each of them to organise themselves before he moved to lead the way from that warehouse and out onto the docks, the Frenchman assisting Alexander in sliding that warehouse door closed to hide the car within before that family gathered outside it. Aiden, just as he had foreseen, wandering around that corner and towards them all but a few moments later- that near confused look on the boys face prompting Matteo's attention to shift to Dorian.

"Dorian- what did you say to Aiden in order to coax him here?"

Aiden, after all, so hardly struggled to tell Matteo himself 'no' when he chose not to do something (stubborn little wretch he could be sometimes) and yet, the WereKing struggled but a little more to turn down his brother. Dorian, by that notion, ideal for having been the one to summon Aiden to that location.

I told him I had come to see him and gotten terribly lost and required that he should come and find me. I said I was opposite that boat repair building and quite needed him to come right away.
"Ah, that explains why he looks confused and concerned all at once."
Why should he look concerned?
"Because that is the look of a man whom believes his entire family has somehow lost all ability to navigate the west and gotten lost with you."
At least he came to rescue me.
"You are right in that. Remember now, this is Aiden, he.....does not always react as anticipated to receiving gifts, he struggles with them a little on occasion. It does not mean he dislikes them, he is merely not always prone to showing how he feels. Do not take it harshly."
