West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

sharp objects make me giddy

I cling to Kohl as we lie in a pile of boxes, assuring myself that he's all in one piece and hasn't sustained head damage from the anchor or hitting the wall. Once he makes a comment about me making up my mind, I'm able to relax somewhat, snorting softly as I draw back.

"For now, just stay there and watch the fun."

I practically purr the words as I stand up and face the wolf and boy, my eyes and ears easily going between the two. I'm used to being jumped by more than one were at a time. They often travel in packs, after all. It just makes it more fun. It's not like I don't have an advantage with being able to guess what my opponent's going to do next. The wolf snarls at me as I draw out my blades and she starts toward me. I pose myself, ready to attack when she gives the opening. I'll be damned before I let her get a piece of Kohl. Meanwhile the boy looks confused at what I said, his own words actaulyl drawing a laugh from my throat at this point. My gaze doesn't leave the wolf since she's closer but my words are obviously aimed at the boy on top of the roof.

"Ain't that the truth. At least we agree on something."

Sure that he'll only get more confused from that comment, I glance over as I note movement from Kohl's corner. What's he doing? I scowl in slight agitation that he didn't listen to my orders as he gets up, shaking what looks like his car keys. I raise a brow in question. What does he plan on doing with those? Throw them? The wolf actually looks a little irritated as well but it's the boy's reaction that catches my attention. He seems almost entranced, like a cat watching you dangle its favorite toy in front of him. I smirk at Kohl's logic as he starts side stepping with the keys, holding the boy's attention as he moves in mirror steps with him from the roof. I catch the tell tale sound of untrustworthy boards the minute Tobi steps on them and I look at Kohl, wondering if somehow he planned this. His comment makes me grin a little.

"I guess you are good for something."

I murmur just to get under his skin as I turn back to the wolf who looks a little agitated at the moment. She's closest so I could probably attack her and make the boy make a wrong step trying to save her. He seems rather protective of her even though they're two very different species. I step toward her, holding the blades out in front of me at the ready but the focus in her eyes...they're almost unsettling. Noticing movement behind me, I spin around quickly to see Kohl suddenly going up in the air. What the...? The connection hits me and I spin back around to the wolf with something like a snarl on my own face. She wants to play dirty. Her words are disjointed like they usually are when a were speaks while in their other form but the meaning is clear. She wants me to surrender and leave. I scowl and glance back at Kohl as he struggles to grab onto a roof top to stop himself from going higher. Not a chance. I'll figure out some way to help him, whether I've got to get a mattress under him to catch his fall or something but I never surrender.

That's when I hear the sound of breaking boards and I look up to see the boy falling through the weak roof as Kohl had suspected. I smirk, hoping that weakens him but unfortunately the boy manages to catch himself and he looks like he barely got a scratch by the time he's on the ground before me. Luck never seems to work in my favor. Good thing I'm good with a knife. I watch with narrowed eyes as he rakes his claws along the wall. The sound if grating and my ears have an uncomfortable ringing sensation in them by the time he's done but I keep my blades up and ready. He licks his lips, moving closer and I square off, ever aware of the wolf behind me since I'm sure they plan to jump me together. My senses are already on high alert and ready to attack either way.

Suddenly the boy looks at Kohl and blinks, his whole demeaner seeming to turn to panic as he suddenly yells at the wolf to put him down. My whole face contorts in confusion as I look between him and the wolf, the one he calls Birdie. Why's he suddenly so...oh! And then it hits me and I look at Kohl with a smirk of victory. Leave it to him to use his power at a time like this. I know well how he uses his powers of infatuation to get himself out of tough spots. I've seen many a biker guy with arms bigger than my head ready to grind him into pulp for touching his girl and then suddenly he's their best friend. He calls it his neat little trick. I roll my eyes in amusement as the boy only seems to panic more by the minute.

When he leaps up toward Kohl though, my body tightens, ready to see him attack Kohl in some way. Alas, he grabs onto his legs desperately, all the while pleading with the wolf to put him down. I watch, slightly entertained by the whole thing as he clings to Kohl and Kohl starts yelling out things about him touching him. It actually prompts me to laugh. I turn toward the wolf, my arms more relaxed though by this point I'm more interested in what she plans on doing with this new development. I hear Kohl's last yelled words over my shoulder and I snort as I tilt my head and eye the wolf.

"So...what's it going to be? Both our guys fall to their death or you let up on the mojo? He's not going to let anything happen to Kohl now so you might as well take your kitty and leave."

My eyes narrow in challenge.
