West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Ah, how her city bustled with life at this hour, the world no longer hung in that peaceful pre-dawn. Emerance was hardly perturbed by the increased foot traffic or the plethora of cars that zoomed by as she navigated the sidewalk, nor was she aware of how the presence of so many others made it so very difficult for the man at her side. Rather, she was more than content to chatter away as she made her way towards the nearest intersection, informing her companion of exactly how...questionable this area of town could be, much less the places she had been told to avoid. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as agreed though he seemed almost...distracted. It was as if those words were meant merely to placate her than any advice he really intended to heed. Her head tilted to the side in brief inquisitiveness as she watched him from her periphery. He seemed...wholly absorbed within his own thoughts, as if the chatter of his mind was too intense for him to focus upon the world around him. She supposed that did fit with her presumption that he was ravaged by some...mental illness...or deep in the throes of some mind altering drug haze. Her shoulders lifted in a vague shrug at her own internal thoughts as her jade irises deviated from him. They were quickly approaching the intersection ahead and, for the moment, Emerance focused upon those bright green street signs with their bright white lettering. Those cross streets, at the very least, offered her a vague idea of where she was and where she needed to go.

Emerance was quick to voice aloud those very thoughts before she led the way across the crosswalk. The very last thing she anticipated, as they walked across those large striped lines, was his sudden declaration that she surely had somewhere important to be. A soft sound of contemplation left the girl's lips, her gaze turned upward as if she was considering that very thing before her head shook side to side. "Hmm...no, I don't think so." She informed him, only to glance over at Ben. Emerance watched as he ran his gloved hand through his blonde locks. He looked like he could use a nice, hot shower. His comment caused a warm simper to dance across her features as she shook her head once again. "If I am a dream, then you're the only one who dreamed me, so how can I haunt someone else?" She inquired, utilizing his very logic against him, even if it was only fueling the very notion that she was little more than a creation of his mind. "Besides, your apartment building is just over there." She reached out, pointing upward towards a brick faced building half way through the street she'd only just led them down. "Come on, let's go." Emerance urged him on, tugging lightly at his sleeve as she dragged him down the street with her. "Have you signed a leasing agreement already? Are they expecting you?" She inquired, entirely determined to see him comfortably within his apartment before she left him, at the very least.
