West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

This, it seemed, was Carolina's element. Behind the bar. She moved gracefully, fluidly. The young woman seemed to know just where everything was as she effortlessly saw to making that drink Sly had requested. Carolina reached for a bottle of Tanqueray, her choice in gin prompting a slight simper of satisfaction to the warlock's lips as she saw to blending that alcohol with the tonic. Gin and Tonic, Sly knew, was something of an English classic. Old fashioned perhaps and yet as far as Sly was concerned those classics never truly went out of style. He never had been able to find a drink he liked quite as much. Not when gin in itself offered such a variety of flavor depending on the brand and make. Carolina continued to work with quiet flair. The woman had clearly spent more than just a few nights behind that polished oak bar top to move as fluidly as she did. Sly's gaze shifted ever so slightly, watching that simple sway of her hips. The warlock quickly glanced away as she moved to face him once more- Sly reaching for that offered drink with a word of thanks before bringing it to his lips. That truly was a good drink- and a much needed one as far as he was concerned. Carolina moved to glide around the bar once more only to perch upon the bar stool beside him, the pair easily content in one another's company Sly took another sip of that drink. The young Were woman was quick to insist that practice made perfect as she raised her own drink to her lips before placing it back upon the coaster beside his own. Drinking, Sly was certain, was hardly as fun without a game or too. Even if that very suggestion seemed to prompt a wariness of sorts from his companion.

The almost dubious look upon her pretty features coaxed a soft snort of amusement from the Gypsy- Sly was quick to insist that the game was hardly hard. Her answers, in turn, were allowed to be as detailed or vague as she liked. The purpose of that game, after all, was simply to find out those oddities rather then the almost generic questions people spent far to much time often asking. The faster someone answered, in turn, the more truthful that answer likely was to be. Carolina seemed to mull over that 'game' for several more moments before nodding her agreement, the young woman insisted he 'fire away' as an almost impish grin found Sly's features in turn. The warlock rested one elbow upon the bar,his chin resting in the palm of his hand as he did. Thatpose decidedly boyish and yet distinctly comfortable as he listed those five questions in an almost rapid fire. Carolina so hardly needed to pause-the woman ticking off those answers uponher fingers as she responded. Her favorite color was blue-but a specific blue. Hmm. That was a unique answer. Sushi was somewhat unexpected and yet the traditional japanese cuisine was becoming more and more popular. Her insistence she regretted leaving the ark because it 'didn't end well' coaxed one eye to lift in clear curiosity and yet she hardly chose to elaborate. At least not beyond her insistence returning to the Ark had saved her life. There was, Sly was certain, a distinct story there and yet for now at least the warlock was willing to afford his companion her privacy as she finished with the insistence her middle name was Grace.

"I feel like there is a whole lot more to say on some of your answers but since that's not part of the game you're allowed to escape without my asking any further. At least this time."

A teasing simper tugged at the warlock's lips, Sly content not to pry tonight as Carolina took another sip from her drink. The woman apparently took that moment to consider her own questions before flashing him a wink. The very gesture, in turn, prompted that simper back to his own features as he gestured for her to go ahead. Her questions, however, were decidedly more....intricate then he had anticipated. Hmmm. She was....good at this. Sly's features frowned ever so slightly in contemplation and yet those rules insisted he was hardly supposed to think on those answers. The warlock was quick to respond.

"My favorite movie is probably True Grit, the later version. I was born in Romania. If I could go anywhere it would probably be to Rome- I like history. Favorite guilty pleasure, huh, I didn't expect that one. I really like boiled sweets, you know the really traditional British kind? We make them in ROmania too. It's probably eating those. I'd eat them by the bowlful if I could. One thing i've always wanted to do, ummmm, it's probably win the lottery. I mean, who doesn't want to do that? Hundred percent on my top five list of things to do."

An almost impish grin found the man's lips then before Sly took another sip of his drink. The warlock faced Carolina once more as he contemplated those further questions.

"Alright, my turn again, ready? What's the best book you've ever read? Name one of your top three embarrassing moments? One illogical thing you're afraid of? Food you hate the most? And weirdest place you've ever made out with someone? Go."
