West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It did not matter what species Tobi was. All that mattered was that her neon-blue furred deviant was safe. Once again the spotted feline proved that he was a dominant creature, a male that could survive, protect, and provide. These traits were a thing that every male needed to have, as he would be seen as desirable for a mate. Already the human part of her was seeking some sort of companionship with the boy, their dating process was slow and steady, but the natural side of her demanded that she speed up the process. Softly her muzzle would trail along his jaw wanting nothing more than to please the boy and show him the recognition that he deserved. After all, if she wanted to be the only one to walk by his side then she needed to show him she was capable of doing such a thing. Already feeling anxious after the attack she felt solace as the boy began to purr and rub his face against her own. Eyes would close half-way as she nuzzled him back, tail swaying side to side, enjoying this rare show of affection. Not once had he rubbed his face against her own, and to both species, this was just another level of trust being built between one another, a recognition perhaps of their own acceptance of the other. As she felt him move away, the oddly marked lupine would follow him at the sound of his low rumbling command, moving to place herself at his side rather than behind him, glad to be in this rare position. As the jungle cat began to strut along the alleyway and harbor she would not laugh nor correct him, but allow him to do as he pleased. Her own head would lift, though it would remain a few inches under his, her tail arched over her back, chest swelling with pride, but not just for herself, but for him as well. For so long she was used to walking as a lowly creature, but for tonight in this moment she could act as something significant. Every now and then her shoulder would gently rub and press into his own, a subtle show that she recognized his dominance within the area, and showing any other possible Were that she was with him.

Quietly she walked at his side, staying close to him, pulling the shadows over their frame to keep them hidden. Grey-trimmed ears twitched side to side as she listened to the hollering of the sailor men, the sights of the ships moving and the men pushing or carrying their catch of the day. The scent of fish was quite overwhelming. As Tobi began to shed his fur, she would warily do the same. Being in her lupine form was like having extra armor on. She felt safer with her claws and teeth, playing on human's fear in wild beasts. Once again the curly-haired woman would be clothed when she shifted, hardly wanting to expose herself. Just because other Weres, like Tobi, shifted into their naked form, didn't mean she would have to. As she followed him out from the crates she could smell the rotten stench of alcohol, snorting with disdain, she looked around and her eyes widen in shock. Standing still, eyes wide, as she stared before a group of drunken men. Their catcalls and whistles caused the poor thing to shake, their obscene words inquiring the naked boy for details of their little romp behind the crates. It wasn't a surprise that some of the men would approach the two, some extending their hands and touching her waist, while others flashed what money they had in their pockets to bribe her to come. Shaking her head she would stick behind Tobi, hiding her head below his shoulder blades, her forehead resting on his bare back, eyes closed as she tried to tune the men out- speaking softly to the bewildered boy.

"Tobi...they think we had sex...and they are asking for me to have sex with them too."

It was crude of her to say such things, but the boy clearly did not understand their hoots and hollers. She knew full well that her neon-haired companion needed to be explained things by her soft and soothing voice. Truly she didn't look as if she had romped around with the boy for if she did her clothes would be in shambles. Had she been given time to dress she wouldn't have gone out in sweats or her sleeveless thank top. The autumn night air, mixed in with their proximity to the sea, caused the girl to shiver. Yet as the men came closing in around the two she sighed in relief when she saw them retreat at the sound of the whistle. As her hand went down to clutch Tobis', ready to lead him away, she went still as clothes were shoved in their direction. Quickly the young woman slipped on the oversized overalls, the straps barely holding along her shoulders. Butting the jacket she placed the odd hat on, her clothes way too big for her to wear as her hands barely could be seen from the jacket's sleeve. As a large tuna was thrown at the boy she heard his yelp, and using her telekinesis because she couldn't catch the damn thing, she used her power to toss it into a rather large bin with wheels on it. None of the crew members noticed that the girl had used magic to toss the fish, because they were too busy throwing the fish down the line and towards the bin. As another fish was tossed his way she watched the poor boy fall to the ground. Using her telekinesis once again, she lifted the fish and tossed it in the bin. As the barefooted came back, she would rip the hat off him, so he could see, as she pulled some of his hair out of his eyes and behind his ears. Speaking quickly as the men seemed preoccupied, waiting for the next assortment of fish to be risen from the deck, one hand grabbed Tobi's as her thumb brushed across it gently. Her voice remained soft as her eyes searched for his own.

"Tobi, they want you to catch the fish and throw it at me...but I will catch the fish, if you do something else..."

While the drunken men pointed at the two, noticing how they were standing so close to one another, the young woman would ignore them. Standing on her tip toes she would place one quick kiss on his forehead, to reassure the boy and keep him focused on her, wanting to make sure her direction was clear. Yet as she spoke to the boy, she made sure to make it sound like a suggestion rather than an order, knowing he did not like being told what to do, a small smile thrown in his direction for extra care.

"I want you to make the men crazy...make them want to leave the ship and not come back...then we can take that bin over there with the fish...and go home."

As animals they had to be adaptable to survive and it would seem they wouldn't have to hunt after all- just distract.
