West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He can smell her blood, that potent scent of rust and salt that permeates the air and acts upon the creatures predatory instincts, teasing and taunting them now and yet he is exhausted, so unused to this power not his own, the force with which he had commanded it seeming to drain his energy from within him as he sat upon the floor. The hesitancy of the woman to approach him is unnoticed, her hand reaching forward before pulling back as those trails of blood run in rivulets down her arms from the marks of the claws carved into her skin in his rage and agitation. He did not mean to harm her, not truly and yet such is his inability to perceive emotion that he has done little more than express it as only he knows how- lashing out at those around him despite his emotion directed to one person alone, one unwilling perhaps, to offer him even this chance to attempt to explain and as such his frustration has reached it's peak. He does not understand, will not understand, believing only that Tetradore has become annoyed with him, no longer wishes to have him around and yet he cannot perceive why- blames Nadya entirely for this fracture between them and yet even so cannot truly perceive the implication of his own actions- guided as they were by the female panther and her assurance all would be fine. He had.....trusted her, believed her, done as had been asked of him and nature itself commanded entirely, his Leaders rage and irritation so sorely misunderstood. He cannot fix it, cannot make it right, no longer holds any understanding of how to please the man whom had once been the closet of his companions- a childhood playmate, a companion, a guardian, a partner, a friend and a brother. For so many years he had sought Tetradore alone, so much of his mind fixated upon this single being as is the nature of his often obsessive ideals. To have this taken from him, to have his Leader so openly ignore him is....crushing. He is a creature that knows no else, that understands no else whose purpose for so long has been to protect his older sibling and as such he is simply....lost.

The words of the woman beside him see those eyes of dark chocolate lift, gaze near black within these moments, free of the flecks of light Birdie had always sought to find, peering towards her beneath those long, almost feminine lashes before he speaks, words thickly laced with frustration and misunderstanding, each syllable a painful struggle as he forces them from his lips. She asks what he has done wrong, his mind seeking this single question from her softly spoken words as that handsome head simply turns away, shaking from side to side now, lips parting to mutter again to himself, faster then normal, words holding no real meaning before the woman speaks again and those hopeless eyes fixate upon her yet again as she asks of him again the question he cannot answer.

"Naddy said......was alright."

That he is not explaining himself, not truly, remains to be seen, the boy struggling so painfully in his attempts to make her understand, merely repeating the words that echo within his own mind, struggling to express emotion into word as he is left merely staring at her so hopelessly once more as her hands seize his own, brushing against them over and over in a rhythm, a pattern- that seems to distract him entirely, the sound of the closing door lost upon him as that fractured mind seizes only on her stroking fingers. He adores patterns, some part of himself moving to mimic this rhythm, his own free hand taping against the wooden floors in time with each and every gentle touch as he seems to frown ever so slightly, eyes deviating away from the curly-haired women now as he seems to struggle all over again to speak.

"Aiden.....Tetra and Aiden.....same."

For a moment those fathomless pools return to her, to assure himself she has understood what he attempts to portray, that Aiden and Tetradore are the same being, that he merely has different names, although the boy hardly knows why before he suddenly speaks once more. His voice is....unusual now, warped, lighter, softer almost....feminine in tone and so entirely bizarre as it passes his lips that it is surely a shocking thing, lashings of shaggy hair falling against his eyes as he moves to mimic Nadya now.

"We can't tell Aiden."
"Why...not tell...Aiden?"
"Because he wouldn't understand, just promise."
"Will not....tell...Aiden."

He pauses abruptly, voice shifting from his own, to Nadya's and back again as if he....replays the conversation for Birdie in the manner a recording device is sure to do so, that clever, cunning mind so perfectly punctuating each word, playing it back for the curly haired woman as he so suddenly continues.

"Tobi. Come with me, I want to show you something."
"Naddy!"
"You'll have to catch me first if you want to play the game."
"I am...fucking...mad at...you."
"I know you are. Come on Tobi...."
"I....win!"
"You win."

There is a pause once more, the creature shifting slightly as if he attempts to sort through the words within his mind before his 'recording' continues, merciful perhaps, that he is given to leave out what had occurred between such words and those that follow.

"Do not...leave me again...I do not like it...when you are gone and...it makes Tetra...upset."

"I wouldn't know how my brother feels. He doesn't leave Syn anymore, at least, not to see me. You still...haven't told him about...the game right?"

""Sometimes....leaves Syn, tells me to.....make sure you....are safe. Tetra....likes you I think....maybe....second best. No...I did not...tell him."
"That's the last time we can play the game..ok?"
"I did...it wrong? We...can't we play anymore?"
"No, you didn't do anything wrong. It isn't a game, not supposed to be a game. We can't do it anymore because it's only supposed to be with a mate. I'm not your mate, it's not right."

One hand moves to run fingers through those black locks, fisting now as he struggles to find the single sentence that remains to him, voice much deeper now, baritone, rough and yet thick with anger as he very near snarls it- just in the manner to which it had been delivered to him, one fist slamming suddenly into the ground as he does, as if to punctuate the rage within the sentence.

"I told you to watch my sister. I told you to keep an eye on her. I did NOT tell you to fuck her."

Those dark eyes at last return to her now, this bizarre monologue of speeches delivered as he merely stares blankly towards the woman beside him now, eyes searching her own, seeking some understanding within them and yet, perhaps, at last- Birdie may understand his own confusion, told so many times such a thing was permitted- only to be reprimanded so strongly by Tetradore himself- the final voice within this tirade as he simply stares towards the women he...trusts to provide him with an answer as to why his Leader is so very mad with him.....

"Birdie will...fix it?"
