West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was true that this particular gift would have been quite ideal for her spotted companion. Tobias would have already slinked up the tree by now. His need to be dominant in all things was a driving force, especially when it came to competitions. Night and day, day and night, always she spent most of her time with him. Always she had done something for him. Sometimes it was meals at ungodly hours of the night, she would give him a small token of appreciation â€" gifts that would make him happy. Every now and then he would ask her questions, showing his interest on how society functioned, and paitnetly she would explain and try what he wanted to know. Sometimes it was something so simply as holding silverware or flipping pancakes without tearing it. Other times it was daunting tasks like teaching him words, teaching him how to read, or his own emotions. All of these things she didn't mind doing and yet, every now and then, she needed a break. She would return faithfully to Tobias' side later tonight, but for now she wanted to try and do something nice for her Alpha. He had allowed her to join without asking anything from her. To make him this climbing tree wasn't too difficult, but to draw any kind of emotion from him was.

She was not used to having some form of bond with others, but it was natural for her to seek such things. With Tobias it came natural. Alexis had experience some similar dark experiences, just like Raven, and their kinship came natural. However, with her own Alpha she wasn't quite sure of anything. He was quiet, apathetic, and terribly too hard to read. She did not know if she was being a good member or not. When she worked in his office she attempted to excel in everything just to see if maybe that would please him. When it was her turn to cool their breakfast or dinner she attempted to make delicious new meals, be they traditional or exotic, and although he ate everything he didn't say much. So, of course she'd go out of her way and do something extremely nice for him. He was her Alpha and he gave her the rare opportunity to belong somewhere that accepted her. She may not be his, but that didn't mean she couldn't do something thoughtful for him.

As she attempted to climb, using telekinesis to do most of the job, she paused for a moment to see how far up he was. Ebony skull would tilt slightly in puzzlement. He was sitting on a branch way below, hardly had he come up, and she was concerned. She had tried giving him a playful object to climb on assuming his feline half would enjoy it. She had seen him be playful before, but it was under different circumstances. Here within the Ark they were safe. At the zoo they had been captured and they were trying to escape out of the armadillo exhibit. Sadly though she found the odd creatures entertaining, especially when they rolled up in a sphere, the lupine and feline having a ball with them. Blue-grey eyes looked over the felines' face noticing zero reactions when she mentioned she wanted to drive his car if she won. It was supposed to be a joke. As that wolfish grin faltered she hid the disappointment as she lifted her head and readied herself to leap. It was the gentle masculine whisper that brushed gingerly through her mind the poor girl fall. With a loud thud her stomach slammed into the metal branch and the wolf winced. Grey trimmed ears were pointed at full attention as her head swung over the side watching the panther. Her once playful tone was now replaced with a solemn note.

"Of course I'd keep Tobias safe, I have been and I always will. No matter what happens."

Tobias was her best friend. The boy may appear strong, but deep down he was fragile. There was nothing wrong with being such a thing. He was different, unique, and he always needed to be looked after. She would do absolutely anything for the first individual that befriended her. Tobias had no idea how much she cared for him. Though why Tetradore would say such a thing was...concerning. Slowly she would stand back up, taking a tentative walk towards the trunk, as she looked down on him.

"But you didn't have to ask or put that on a wager."

It did not occur to her that he was attempting to be sentimental. Rather he stuck a chord and it wasn't a pleasant one. She was displeased to hear that he would be 'gone.' Why would he be gone? Were they not being good? Did they do something wrong. He wasn't one that really talked about...anything. She could barely get a well-developed conversation out of him. If there was something wrong surely he would have expressed his opinion. Her form would hunch in a submissive position as her head lowered while he climbed. He had a long ways to go before he caught up to her and it didn't really matter to her anymore. Not with the impending threat her Alpha was going to be gone. Cautiously her apprehensive voice would press into his mind, all thoughts of play was completely gone.

"Is there something wrong? Please don't leave us...you are a good Alpha. We'd be at a loss without you."

It was true. Tobias would go off and search for him, and she would obediently follow her best friend. Helping him find Tetradore, whether the panther liked it or not.
