West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I bet it's driving Isolt mad, all this waiting as I peruse the deepest darkest secrets of her life. It means so much that she would bring me here, show this to me. It speaks volumes of how she truly feels. I'm sure it took her a long time to talk herself into doing this. I want to ask why but I'm almost afriad to break the spell. I didn't know anything about her, not really. I didn't know what her interests are and what she wanted to be in her human life. I guess I was so busy trying to acclimate her to her new life that I never stopped to think about what she used to dream of being. It's a whole new look into Isolt's life, one that I'll cherish forever. I didn't know she had a roommate but I can only guess that's the other girl in the photos, the one with the dark hair and the brooding eyes with her arm slung so comfortably around Isolt's shoulders. They look as close as sisters. And yet Isolt has never mentioned her to me. My brows furrow. There are pictures of her parents, of her brother. He's posed next to the car she gave me, the one I've seen restored and been driving around as my new favorite.

I can practically smell her fear and it makes me want to comfort her, throw my arms around her and shield her from the world. I want her to know it's okay, that I'll protect her secrets till my dying day. As I reach for her hands, she clings to me like a life vest and I cling back only that much more, willing to shelter her as long as she wants me as sanctuary. I can see even as I speak that my words ae not the full truth, at least not to her. She shakes her head and I incline my head, inviting her gently to correct me and let me hear what she feels inside. Her whispers make my lips turn to a tight line, meeting her gaze as I search her expression in concern. Now it's my turn to shake my head. "I've told you hundreds of time now, Isolt. This is not the end of your life. It's your beginning. You can be whatever and whoever you want to be. Still want to be a doctor? Fine, there are 24 hour clinics that always need help. Want to try something different? You've got all the time in the world to go to college and get a Master's in science or Literature or Veterinary Medicine. You can do whatever you want. You can Be anything." I search her gaze again, wanting to make sure the words are sinking in.

"If this place is just a hole in your heart now, then you should move. Go somewhere that feels right and safe. Go somewhere that makes you feel whole again." My brows furrow again, my mind buzzing wiht protests of what I just said. It's almost like I'm telling her to leave Sacrosanct and that's the last thing I want her to do. I don't want her to go anywhere. I don't want her to leave. I don't know if I can take it. When I tell her how I feel, she reaches up to remove my hand from her chin. I scowl in puzzlement but my gaze turns to wonder as she brushes her heavenly lips against my flesh. When she looks up at me, my lips are barely parted, awe filling my eyes as she speaks. I can't help but smirk. "You are right. I am hopelessly drunk. But I am also hopelessly in love with you, Isolt."
