West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

there are as many truths as stars in the sky, and everyone of them different
perhaps that is the only real truth

The otherness of the boy clings to him as she watches him, trying to discern if he is just weird - which seems highly likely - or a true danger. He gives no signs away of ill intentions, just a distinct lack of friendliness. There were many who visited the Ark each night, some enjoying the atmosphere of being around others of their own kind and some there to seek release. She had noticed that the animal within them was always close to the surface. Tension had to be released or things could begin to go south rapidly. The swarm of faces, however, had not yet become familiarized within her mind. There were a distinct few she had seen repeatedly yet she did not remember spying Frost there. Nonetheless, she assumed he is merely wishing to seek her out away from the press of the crowd. Maybe he fears what others will think if he needs a potion and that was fine too, it all worked in her favor anyways and it wasn't like Tetra could ask her for a piece of this commission when she wasn't selling it ON the Ark.

It is the darkness that seems to edge his words that alerts her to the tension in the air. While she does not walk off, there is a tense edge to her figure as she shifts, eyes blinking more and narrowing upon him. He draws closer and she instinctively shifts back - but that does not stop him. He strolls closer with a dangerous air to him, the air of one who expects obedience. It makes her heart thump hard in her chest. It was not wise to antagonize a creature like him but neither could she bow down. So she just remains as is, neutral, assessing. Nervous.

She forces a smile on her face at his compliment but it is immediately wiped away by his criticism, her brows furrowing. "But you were--" She is cut off as he moves around her, shrugging, and then speaking once more. "No, I don't," she answers to BOTH of his questions, her voice hard now as she takes a step back. Mossy eyes fly down to her wrists as warmth permeates them, lifting her arms up in a sort of surprise and alarm. Sorcha gulps, trying to even her breathing and not present a scared target before him, yet her instincts scream to RUN.

Frost admits what she had begun to suspect - he was not a part of the crew on the Ark. In fact, he did not like Tetra and that posed a problem because Sorcha did. She shoves down her arms, straightens her back, and glares at him. "I will not!" She says, furious at being bullied by the pale eyed man, and as she decides it is time to make a run for it back to the Ark something happens. Ice begins to pool in her veins, at least that is what it feels like. Only it intensifies with each second, burning in a way that numbs everything but also makes it flare with pain. She gasps, tears springing to her eyes as she hugs her arms to herself but the pain... it doesn't stop. "Stop! STOP!" She says, her mellifluous voice rising into a near scream at the pain. "No, no, no!" The pain is consuming her and she stares at her hands as they grow blue. "Yes, I understand," she gasps out, stumbling away from him, "I understand!!"
